16.01.2022 Tryouts start March 14 Please note the new website to register at. Selkirk has joined St Andrews baseball this year. We now have access to more diamonds which allows the older teams to stay local. ... See all the info needed below. No changes to the younger teams as they will still play in St Andrews/Lockport. This partnership allows St Andrews to have diamonds to host older teams. The diamonds by the club were not designed for older teams so we haven’t been able to host the older teams up until now. If you have more questions please email the email given in the ad.

15.01.2022 Lots of change over the last few months with covid. We have adhered to all the requirements from the government. Some areas are starting to open up. SOCCER AND BASEBALL These sports are run independently so emails will be sent directly to the families registered to what they are able to offer. For the house league soccer program it was cancelled earlier and refunds issued.... ST ANDREWS CC DAY CAMP The St. Andrews Community Club is excited to announce we will be going ahead with our summer day camp program for 2020. It has been a thoughtful process as we considered the fate of the program but with the current status of moving forward with phase 2 in Manitoba we have decided to proceed. Thank you to everyone who filled out our survey on the Summer Camp, your feedback was appreciated! The St. Andrews Day Camp will be following the guidelines set out by the province and there will be strict safety protocols in place to keep our campers as safe as possible but will also be emphasizing fun and friendship! The camp will run from 8 am to 5 pm starting July 6th and ending on August 28th . This year we will only be offering full week spots to campers aged 5 to 11 and based on both provincial guidelines and camper to leader ratios we will only be accepting a limited amount of kids per week. More details will be on our website www.standrewsrec.com shortly, so keep checking in, we are just finalizing interviews for leaders and making sure all protocols are planned for. Registrations for camp will open on our website on Monday, June 8th. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to e-mail our committee at [email protected]. Again because of limited spaces available we are trying to accommodate families in need of full-time child care first. AGM The executive is meeting this week to plan how we can hold the AGM and meet the new guidelines. More info will be sent directly to the members. BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND HALL RENTALS At this time, we are still not able to offer these programs as our club is not allowed to reopen in phase 2. We anticipate they will not be able to resume until September, at the earliest as we need to maintain the hall for day camp and there are strict requirements at this time. 15.01.2022 Preteen Dance March 20th has been cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns. It is recommended to reduce the large group, crowded activities. Our dances are well attended and would have more than 100 kids in an area together. Next dance will be in June.

13.01.2022 If you plan on registering for summer day camp, you will want to register quickly as it is filling up fast. Many camps are not operating this year so spots will go quickly. Some weeks are almost sold out. Due to current rules, space is limited this year.

12.01.2022 New restrictions start Monday but the club has been already following them. Just a reminder that masks are required to be worn by everyone at the club all the time until they are on the ice, sanitize your hands when you come in and leave through the exit not entrance. Only one parent/guardian per family allowed and has to sit social distanced in the stands. Not in the lobby or by the glass. No siblings are allowed or a second parent. We have number limitations. ... This applies to every renting group in the club, including old timer teams. All renting groups are required to do tracing logs and are responsible for the people they let in. Arena doors are kept locked and only opened once the rooms have been sanitized. So we suggest players coming to the rink fully dressed as time and space in dressing rooms are limited. Everyone needs to do their part to keep the rinks open. If Transmission has started in sports in the city and if it continues we are at risk of having sport shut down as we are under the Winnipeg rules.

05.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 public health announcement today that Manitoba will be limited to 10 person gatherings, our House League committee had to regretfully vote in favour of cancelling the league for the 2020 season. We do not feel larger gatherings will be approved in time to allow us to plan teams, schedule games and referees etc. St. Andrews is prepared to offer a condensed, in house program should we get clearance by Public Health to resume activities by the end of April.
