23.01.2022 Hi guys, just a reminder that playgroup is starting up again tomorrow from 10am-12pm. Join us as we play, make new friends and have a great term of under the sea fun. Cant wait to see you all there!! Also, dont forget that in term one we offer our 10% discount if you pay for a whole years membership. We will also have our bank account details available for anyone who would like to do an on-the-spot Bank transfer. Cant wait to see you all!!

Where: St Bedes Anglican Church 21 College St, Drummoyne (in the Hall) Open everyday between the 12th-16th of October 11am-6pm. Cost: $5 per family. All money raised goes towards youth work in Drummoyne. Please feel free to bring along any clothing donations that you have.

10.01.2022 Hi all, just wanted to let you know about some extra measures that we will be taking at playgroup this term to ensure that the space is clean and germ free. We will spray all toys, cars and craft items with glen 20 before and after they are played with. We will provide hand sanitizer at the sign in desk, which we ask that you use on arrival. ... We will not ask you to sign in (to avoid sharing pens). With regards to morning tea, we will serve it on large tables, with tongs for service and we ask that adults serve their children. We thank you for your understanding with all of this and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

At this stage we wont be able to commence week one, but please stay posted in a few weeks when we have a better understanding of how things are going. Hope you are all safe and well. Thanks!!!

04.01.2022 Hi all, it is with great sadness that we have decided to press pause on playgroup (and all church activities) for the time being. There were a few special things planned this term that we didnt get to (pirate week and the Easter hat parade) rest assured that when we start up, we will make sure that these fun events are put back into our next roster. Please check back here for more info regarding our new start date. Please let us know (either through this page or contacting... the church office directly) if you or any locals are in need of practical assistance or if you need someone to talk to. 04.01.2022 We are so pleased that playgroup can start back up again, in the interests of health and safety, there will be some changes to how playgroup is run. Please read the following information carefully before you come along. Please note that children do not need to be socially distant from each other, however, they do need to keep their distance from adults. All adults must maintain a 1.5m distance from each other. Time: 10-11:30am ... Where: Playgroup will run in the front garden of the church - this is because there is more room to be socially distant. Please bring: Your own food and drinks (there will be no food or beverages provided by the church, so please stop by your favourite cafe on the way and grab yourself a coffee!), a picnic rug to sit on and eat with your child/children, a scooter/balance bike for your child to ride on the pathway and any favourite toys that your child might like to play with. What we will provide: We will have the large toys out (i.e. the tonker cars, the cubby house etc) and we will also have individual craft bags available. Story time: Story time can still happen (thank goodness!) however, we are not allowed to sing together. We are allowed to dance, say rhymes, read books and have fun though! On arrival: We will need you to do three things on arrival; have your temperature taken, sanitise your hands and sign in. Payment: We will no longer be accepting cash payments. Please come prepared to either do a paypass payment or a bank transfer. We will also only be accepting payments for a full terms membership - casual payments will no longer be accepted. As it is a shorter term, we will only charge $20 and resume the normal $30 fee for term four. If you would like to pay before arrival, please PM me for the bank account details. Clean up: all toys and surfaces that we use will need to be cleaned, we will do this between 11:30-12pm - it would be greatly appreciated if you could help us with this. Wet weather plan: In the event of rain, we will still meet in the small hall (however, only 30 adults and children are allowed in the space.) Please note that the hall will be out of bounds other than to use the bathrooms, please try to refrain from touching light switches and door handles where possible and please dont allow your children to play in there. Thank you everybody for your help with these changes, we cant wait for playgroup to start up again! Please note: * All of this is subject to change, we will keep you updated via this page if further restrictions are put in place. * We take everyones safety very seriously at playgroup and these conditions have been made by following the Safe Work Australia Guidelines. * Please dont come if you or your child are unwell or you have had contact with anyone who is COVID19 positive or has been self-isolating.

04.01.2022 H all, It has been a long time since we have been able to meet . Please be assured that we are monitoring the current situation and playgroup will resume once we deem to safe to do so. In the meantime we would like to invite you all to a market that we are having in the church driveway this Wednesday. There will be lots of goodies for sale including yummy food and hand made craft items. Please drop by and say hi, we would love to see you!!!

03.01.2022 Hi all! Ive read on other pages that different communities are playing Were going on a bear hunt with their children. How it works is you put a teddy bear in your window and then you take your children for a walk (or a drive)and try to find them....anyone else want to join in the fun? Here are some bears that can be seen on College St. Please feel free to post here any pictures and street names where teddies can be seen!
