21.01.2022 Today was Crazy Sock and Hair Day. This was a fundraiser to help Catholic Mission's Initiative which aims to 'sock it to poverty' by providing better living, educational and formation opportunities to some of the world's most vulnerable children. This meant, students and staff wore their best crazy socks and hair and gave a gold coin donation. We had a great day full of activities including our parade, eating popcorn, sock-o-war, sock disco, sock bowling and many more. Thanks to the students and staff for a great day!

To see them put in place all the little things we practice in lessons and have a blast doing it is all the reward I need. I love teaching you. Ps I think there are a few missing in the pic. Oh and an extra special mention to Carter. Broke a 27 year old record. Very cool little buddy. You deserve it, you have been working hard this term. Congratulations.

04.01.2022 At this stage St Brigids Primary School will be operating as usual this week. Rural Fire Services NSW have warned of catastrophic fire conditions across the diocese on Tuesday 12th November. Parents and carers should only send their children to school if they are absolutely positive that they would be able to get to school and back home safely. If you are unsure, you are advised to keep your children at home with you or make other safe arrangements. Parents of children who suffer from asthma need to ensure that their children are safe with so much smoke around. We keep all those affected by bushfires in our thoughts and prayers and pray for favourable weather conditions shortly to assist all those fighting and whose lives have been impacted by these fires.

04.01.2022 In line with advice from the Rural Fire Service, Catholic Schools NSW and the NSW Department of Education, all Diocese of Lismore schools south of Woodburn, as well as some north western schools (Woodlawn and Mullumbimby), will remain closed on Wednesday, 13 November 2019. St Brigids Primary School, Kyogle will be open tomorrow (13th November). As mentioned in all earlier correspondence, it is the responsibility of parents and carers to be absolutely positive that their chil...d/ren are able to safely go to school and back home again. If you are unsure, you are advised to keep your children at home or make other arrangements for their safety and wellbeing. We offer our prayers to all our families and all communities that are impacted by the fires in New South Wales and Queensland and offer our prayers and sincerest thanks to the firefighters and volunteers who are working tirelessly to keep communities safe.
