Not only has Tauranga (New Zealand) Keyboardist, Braja Weld, received a Higher Distinction (98%) for his recent Grade 8 St. Cecilia examination, he has also received the Certificate of Special Merit for completing every available grade examination for that instrument. A true musician indeed!

15.01.2022 Sisters Caitlin and Olivia Knauer with their teacher, Daniel McFarlane, after their successful St Cecilia Concert Certificate performance examinations in Brisbane recently. Caitlin was awarded Higher Distinction for CC Preliminary piano and Olivia Higher Distinction (100%) for CC4.
14.01.2022 Amanda Mak shows her trophy and certificate for winning the Grade 1 Harp section in the current St Cecilia International Music Competition in Hong Kong. Of the 1400 performances over the 14-day event, 100 were harpists representing all grade and diploma levels.

12.01.2022 THANK YOU to the teachers, students and parents who attended the very successful meeting in Albury NSW on Saturday 18th August at the Murray Conservatorium. As a result, examinations will be taking place in Albury/Wodonga initially twice per year from 2019 onwards. Congratulations also to all the successful students and diploma candidates who sat their examinations on Saturday!

07.01.2022 200 vocalists and instrumentalists completed their St. Cecilia Concert Certificate examinations in Southern Italy over an eight-day period recently. All grade levels were represented including two Associate Diploma candidates. The standard of performance was again very high. St. Cecilia Examinations have been operating in Italy for seven years and growth throughout the country is already being experienced, especially as a result of our association with BIMED.

06.01.2022 St. Cecilia's 23rd Annual Performance Challenge attracted over 500 performers and a combined audience total of 1000 during the four-day (9-12 August) event in L...aunceston. This year's adjudicator was Melbourne-based music teacher and St Cecilia examiner, Patricia Morgan. The Challenge is well-recognized among professional Tasmanian music teachers for its very positive approach to performance and for its exceptionally high standards. 02.01.2022 St. Cecilia Examiner, Patricia Morgan, hosted a "Getting to Know St. Cecilia" teachers' meeting at her Eltham (Melbourne, Victoria) Studio recently. As part of her stable of qualifications, Patricia holds the St. Cecilia Licentiate Teaching and Licentiate Performing Diplomas. Patricia is keen to speak with teachers in Melbourne as well as country Victoria who are interested in using St. Cecilia Examinations for themselves as well as for their students.
