24.01.2022 Last week 2C had a visit from Cowboys legend Matty Bowen! We spent some time having a game of red, red rover with the footy and asking Matt some questions about his career as a footballer. Thanks for a great day, Matt!

23.01.2022 Year 2 and 3 share some of their favourite memories from 2020.

23.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

23.01.2022 We have made it! The last term of a very different and busy year. This term 3C students have loved all the learning and fun activities we have done so far and there are still the weeks leading up to Christmas to come. Last week we enjoyed cartoons and snacks in the hall and the traditional sliming of the leadership team. This week we have explored the book fair and made giant wish lists. We also designed some pretty great horses and cool looking jockeys and had some friendly competition with the Melbourne Cup race. Year 3 students are now looking forward to a guest speaker, Allister Crocker, who is visiting us next week to tell us all about his life and work in our parish and how he helps his students and the disadvantaged of our community

20.01.2022 So very proud of our #division2 local community. Three of our local Children won a Townsville City Council flag competition! Two children from St Clare's Ca...tholic School Burdell and one of our children from North Shore State School well-done girls! If you'd like to see their work, pop down to the Strand where you'll be able to see it flying proudly! #blomsue #yourvoice #yoursuburb #YourCouncillor

14.01.2022 Each Wednesday a staff member organises a craft for the children.

12.01.2022 Wow, what a fun Term it has been in 2A! We have enjoyed completing lots of hands-on activities with our peers. During English we explored persuasive writing and have tried really hard to convince Miss Price why we should have a swimming pool at St Clare's. In Maths we liked getting outside the classroom and collecting car colour data for a cool digital graphing activity. Becoming junior scientists would definitely have to be our absolute highlight of this Term. We learnt lots about how different ingredients may or may not mix. Some of the experiments we completed were Lava Lamps, Oobleck and a Colour Walk. We have absolutely loved Year Two!!

05.01.2022 A huge thank you to all students/parents who participated in banking this year! We wish you a safe and Merry Christmas and will see you in 2021! A special shout out and thank you to our 2 amazing volunteers who have dedicated their Thursday mornings over the last 6years, Tanya and Edwina. Without your time and effort we wouldn’t be able to deliver this service.

04.01.2022 What a wonderful week commemorating Remembrance Day. We held two Remembrance Liturgies and we were very privileged to have Trooper Daniel Maclurcan from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment join us as our guest speaker. He did an amazing job reflecting on what Remembrance Day means to him personally. Our ANZAC awards were also presented this week, what a wonderful award to receive. Lest We Forget

03.01.2022 What a year it has been in Year 5! The end of the year has been a hive of activity in the 5D classroom. Highlights from this term include presenting our first assembly, the return of school sport and visits to local high schools. Students have also been enjoying showing off their acting skills in this term's drama unit and preparing themselves to be leaders of St Clare's next year.

02.01.2022 Yesterday the students had lots of fun making origami Santa's in preparation for Christmas!
