18.01.2022 First Excursion for the 1/2 Community in the Year 2020!

16.01.2022 Today the 3/4 Learning Community celebrated their Term 4 Educational Research Projects with an opening ceremony in the yard. After a welcoming prayer, Acknowledgement of Country and cutting of the ribbon, we planted some vegetables! This term we have focused on the natural and human impacts on the environment. With our love and care, we hope that these veggies grow well!

14.01.2022 Over the past few weeks the children have been working hard on entries for the Centacare Gets Creative Art Competition. This year’s theme was FRIENDSHIP. It is safe to say that we have some incredibly artistically talented and hard working students at St Columba’s. Here is a very small selection of some of the entries. Enjoy!

13.01.2022 With all the crazy weather of late, we've decided it's time for some Spring cleaning. On Friday 5 Feb from 3:00-3:30pm we are clearing out our second-hand uniform stocks. Items will be available in the hall and we ask interested people to enter from the Howard st gate and make their way through. Items are available for a cash donation per item. As always please maintain hygiene levels and physical distancing. We also have limited supply of new tracksuit pant straight legs $20 Girls Skorts $15 and boys cotton shorts $10

10.01.2022 Congratulation to these budding artists who won prizes in the Centacare Creative Art Competition for their fabulous interpretations of the theme "Friendship". There were so many amazing entries from St Columba's students as well as students from a variety of other Ballarat primary schools. Everyone should be so proud of the masterpieces they created. 10.01.2022 You may have seen the update this morning from the Premier. From 11:59pm masks will again be mandatory inside and a reduction in numbers for gatherings. As we know more about how this may impact school operations we will update families, we expect it will only be around pick up and drop offs, and large school events. We again ask all families to follow the regulations and maintain physical distancing at these times by following a kiss and go in the mornings and remaining by or in their vehicles at pick up times. Thank you for your understanding.

09.01.2022 Thank you for your support with our St Columba’s Giving Tree for 2020. With your help, we were able to donate over 60 gifts to our local St Vincent De Paul society. These will all bring a lot of happiness for many children in our local community. Have a lovely break everyone!
