08.01.2022 Yesterday we ended up with a bit of a Space theme to our day. In the morning we participated in an Astronomy webinar from a curator of the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. She talked us through the exhibition in Sydney and why they put certain displays on show. In the afternoon we were joined by Alice Gorman, a former resident of the area. Alice is an Associate Professor at Flinders Uni and sits on the Advisory Council for Space Industry Association of Australia, is a UN Office of Outer Space Affairs Space4Women Mentor and is Vice Chair of the Adelaide chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She was very excited to be working with the children and informed them of some of the work she does, with a big focus being on The Moon. As a result of our session, the children developed a Declaration Of Rights for the Moon.

08.01.2022 Running on time for 3.30 back at school.
