23.01.2022 We are proud to congratulate our Year 12 student and College Captain Madison, who placed second in the South Australian English Teachers Association Young Writers of the Year Award for 2020. Madison was shortlisted twice for the state in the Creative Writing Category for Year 12, where she was announced as the second-place finalist. Her short story Everything is Beautiful Except Me reflects on the concept of happiness through materialistic possessions well done

21.01.2022 Our Stage 1 and 2 Legal Studies students recently had the opportunity to listen to Ms Rebekha Sharkie MP, Federal Member for Mayo, give a talk on life in politics. She covered a range of insightful topics that students are able to utilise in their projects. Ms Sharkie had a strong emphasis on the right to vote, encouraging all our Year 12 students to make a difference. We look forward to her next visit!

20.01.2022 This week is Nude Food Week where our students are encouraged to help save the planet one lunch at a time by reducing waste within their lunch box. Nude Food Week is dedicated to help students learn about healthy eating and environmental sustainability, which will be a key focus throughout #scienceweek. As sustainability is important to us, our students were recently involved in a 'Wipe out Waste' day where they completed a waste audit aimed to improve our recycling program and waste - we look forward to receiving the results soon

They got a close up look at fish, coral and numerous other sensory objects found in the sea, whilst learning about the importance of keeping our ocean clean

Collaboratively they wrote and illustrated a book using five mystery words as part of the competition criteria - well done to all the teams who participated

We collected 40 baskets full of non-perishable food, clothing and items for babies and children. We thank our College community for all the generous donations
