25.01.2022 Since Musica Viva couldn’t come to us this week, we had an incursion over Zoom! Our students got to explore Antarctica with Alice Giles and Liena Lacey. They guided us through the frozen wonder of this fascinating continent with sounds of the harp, seals, penguins, water, wind and ice . 21.01.2022 Yesterday Kindergarten celebrated their very first liturgy at the church with Fr Thu. The focus of the liturgy was ‘God is always there for us and loves us unconditionally’. God loved and protected many people and gave them the strength to be brave and strong . Kinder has read about many of these special people during their Religion lessons, including Moses, David and Jonah

21.01.2022 Year Three have been learning about natural and man made landmarks in Australia. To show off their knowledge, they created artworks and fact files about a chosen landmark. Incredible work Year Three!

20.01.2022 Year Five have been learning to dance traditional bush dances this term, including the ‘Heel and Toe’ and the ‘Queensland Backstep’. They have been very having so much fun building on the routines each week

14.01.2022 Year 5 were employed as security experts to guard the STFX Maths Museum. They were required to lockdown the space from thieves to ensure they could not escape. Four challenges in multiplication and division were set and needed to be completed in order to set the alarm. Congratulations to our winners and all those who participated in the challenge.

While we can’t all come together in large groups, we can still do our part to care for the planet . 07.01.2022 Last week Year One measured and drew a curious creature. I wonder what it was? It had a massive rounded body covered in spots, an enormous gaping mouth with 3000 tiny teeth, a powerful crescent-shaped tail, and a large dorsal din to help with balancing. You guessed it, it was a Whale Shark!
