11.01.2022 For your peace of mind - You are safe with us. Infection control is absolutely critical in our clinic. It keeps you safe, and it keeps us safe. We follow the N...SW Clinical Excellence Commission guidelines on use of PPE in extended use community settings. Even though we are a low risk community setting, we've decided to use gowns that are the same level as used in ICU, and masks that provide the highest level of protection for our staff. Our gowns are TGA approved AAMI Level 3 (only a plastic apron or Level 1 is required by CEC) and are worn for a maximum of 3 hours of patient contact (up to 8 hours is permitted). Our masks are P2/N95 (only a surgical mask is required by CEC). The Government and private suppliers have not been able to ensure we have access to the number of gowns we need. For that reason we have purchased our own Level 3 gowns. They are laundered, along with our scrubs, in accordance with WHO guidelines for infection control. Opening hours: Due to the recent cases in the Shoalhaven and the need for extra testing, we have extended our hours of operation. We are currently open for assessment and testing from 8:30am to 5:00pm, 7 days a week.
