We will ensure lots of photos and videos will be taken and shared with our families via Facebook, SkoolBag and our website. The theme this year is 'Curious Creatures, Wild Minds'... A Year 6 cupcake stall will follow the parade so please don't forget to pop some gold coins in the kids wallets to buy some yummy cakes.

04.01.2022 As most of you know, after 8 years as P&C President my time has come to an end especially with my youngest finishing and heading off to high school. I have heard that some people think I have just up and left therefore the canteen hasn’t been open Let me assure you this isn’t the case. Last year at the P&C AGM when I wanted to step down, not 1 person turned up. It was only Tracey and I, therefore the AGM couldn’t take place. Tracey and I decided to stay on just to help... and give the school time to find some new fresh faces. Unfortunately due to COVID this had to be put on the back burner. In term 3 both Tracey and I went and saw Mrs Rembisz and let her know we couldn’t continue due to personal reason. The canteen has reopened this term but to those that think that I have just walked away this isn’t the case I still go to Aldi and Woolworths to do the shopping, I still ensure the ordering of all stock is ordered and delivered and I still make sure that the banking is done. So no, I just haven’t left but I do need to take a step back because I won’t be there next year and it’s time for someone else to have a go. Also the P&C President role and all other p&C roles are NOT paid positions. All the time I spent at the school is as a Volunteer. In the 8 years in this role I have spent so much of my personal time helping to better the school from council meetings, to meeting with members of parliament, TV and radio interviews, organising events such as trivia night, spring fair, raffles, Mothers and Fathers day stall, packing uniform orders all while leaving my own children with babysitters so that I could be at the school during the time of the fire and then the vandalism. Countless phone calls to try and get a fence is all done on my personal time as a Volunteer I have not regretted my time on the P&C as it’s been very rewarding. I’ve seen children start in kindy and I’ve watched them leave in year 6, I have enjoyed the stories I hear when children come and collect their baskets and tell me about their weekend or little things like the tooth fairy visiting them or getting the much needed fence that took endless amount of time With all this said I’m still packing the uniforms, all the stuff that we have brought for Spring fair this year and the time We spent last Christmas holidays at the sales to buy things for this years Christmas raffle has been donated to the year 6 mini fair and I will ensure that the canteen is open for the term but if any one wants to help, please reach out because we could all use a little help

03.01.2022 Father’s Day stall is going ahead tomorrow Gifts range between 2 and $10 Don’t forget your plastic bag

03.01.2022 After 8 years, its time for me to move on as P&C president and what a roller coaster it has been. Words can’t describe how I’m feeling tonight as it’s finally hit that it’s time to move on. A huge thank you to Kathy for her support over the years to allow me to fight for what I believed in. From TV interviews and radio interviews to try and spread the word to ensure our students and teachers felt safe. Thank you for allowing us to have so many special events and support...ing us every step of the way. To the teachers- thank you for all your support in allowing us to have special events for the students like the spring fair, our calendar fundraisers etc, with out your help, these events wouldn’t have being possible. Thank you so for supporting our canteen also. To my executive team over the years- thank you for helping achieve so much. We have been able to support the school with so many projects like the bus, the play equipment, the covered walk ways, just to name a few To the students- thank you for sharing your stories with me, I probably can’t look at some of your parents the same way with some of the stories you have told me, but you sure know how to make me laugh . You were all so polite when you came to the canteen and the little notes of have a nice day Tracy on the lunch orders will be missed. To this years P&C executive team- Rach,Tracey and Shell, what a crap year. We couldn’t do all we had planned but we still managed to give $10,000 to the school, $500 to the year 6 formal and $240 for the 2020 school leadership team gift. Thank you for all your support these pass 2 years. Thank you to the parents over the years who have helped me achieve so much. Over $500,000 was raised for the school in my time with the biggest project the school fence, happening within the 2 years instead of 5 . Thank you to the students for my flowers and the teachers of the school for my lovely present. It was Greatly appreciated. Good luck to the new P&C committee, I wish you all the very best xx

02.01.2022 Thank you to all our volunteers
