01.01.2022 Fantastic town to live in, has everything you need and more situated around Georges Bay. There's the no.1 beach in Tasmania only a 10 min drive to the bay of fires and in 2009 voted the best in the world by Lonely Planet, also great for camping. Plenty of shops throughout the town with local doctors, dentists and a hospital, great community to raise a family with schooling from pre-school right upto year 11/12 and also great for those retiring. It is also named Tasmanias Game Fishing Capital. There is something for everyone especially when it comes to sport with its own clubs for Tennis, Bowling, Fishing and Football just to name a few.
