21.01.2022 Thanks Newport Breakers Rugby Club for the invitation to the second edition of the "Bro Walk" on Saturday 6am Starting at Queenscliff Surf Club. We encourage any members of the saints community to attend. What is it? As we all know rugby players are "supposed" to be tough and bulletproof - we play the toughest game on the planet so who are we to talk about our feelings? ... The Bro Walk is designed to break the stigma surrounding Men both in and out of footy and their vulnerability and mental health as a whole. The walk gives men a chance to connect with like minded people and just talk openly about what's going on in their life and their mind. The opportunity to create a community dedicated to normalizing these conversations. The program for next week is - 6am meet at Queenscliff surf club, 6:15-6:30 introductions and allowing for late comers. 6:30 onwards walk from Queenscliff to Manly Stop at Manly for a brief chat Continue on to Shelly - where I will be going through a few exercises and another chance to unpack some feelings. Head back to Queenscliff for a yarn hopefully a BBQ and a coffee.

19.01.2022 Coaching 2021 Northern Saints Rugby currently competes in the NSW Suburban Rugby Union Competition. The club plays at Hassell Park in St Ives, which is located in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. ... The club is aiming to follow up a successful end to the 2020 season by fielding 3 grades as well as an Under 21 Colts team in 2021. We are seeking applications from coaches who are interested to join our club and coaching team for the upcoming season. Currently the Northern Saints are advertising for the following coaching positions: * 2nd Grade * 3rd Grade * Colts We’re looking for coaches who have a strong understanding of rugby, relevant coaching qualifications (or a willingness to obtain them), and are ready to work with the coaching team as a whole to development and implement both training session and game plans. Club training runs on Wednesdays from late January to September, with the season running on Saturdays from March to September. We’ve built a culture of good people doing hard work for each other, and would love to have people who help us grow this even further! In the application, individuals should indicate the desired grades or teams they wish to coach. 12.01.2022 This is an initiative from our Domestic Violence awareness partners for whom we hosted Domestic Violence Awareness round this year. The Saints are supporting awareness for this cause. NSW Police data indicates a 40% rise in domestic assaults between 6pm on State-of-Origin nights and 6am the following day. The "Which side are you on?" campaign asks the community to decide how they will treat their loved ones during this Origin period.
