22.01.2022 In our latest virtual meeting, one of our members speech objective was to practice vocal variety to enhance a speech. She did really well, and it was great for everyone who attended the meeting to learn something about our voice. Things like pace, pitch, pause, volume, articulation. 19.01.2022 A good way of saying, slow down. Approach your speech like a fine five-course meal to be savored one bite at a time, not a fast food meal to be gobbled in a few bites. Theres no need to rush. - Toastmasters International #publicspeaking #publicspeakingtips #publicspeakingskills #speakingtips #publicspeakingtips

01.01.2022 Dear Toasties, Ive had stage fright all my life. I just completely freeze up when Im standing in front of a crowd of people. What can I do? - Frozen Filly Dea...r Frozen Filly, Yes, stage fright is awful. Many of us have previously suffered from it. It often comes from feeling you have to be perfect and fearing harsh judgement when you are not. Try to shift the focus from your performance to how you can best contribute value to your audience. Practice your speech with friends and family, or even in front of the mirror. However, it is best to come to Toastmasters as we provide a supportive environment for people just like you. Our structured programs will help you overcome stage fright. Feel free to join our next online meeting: https://berowra.toastmastersclubs.org/?contactus #deartoasties #berowra #toastmasters #confidence #leadership #stagefright
