09.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: New Director of the St James’ Institute The Rector and Wardens are pleased to announce that Dr Aaron Ghiloni has been appointed the next Director of the St James’ Institute. He will commence work on 2 November 2020. Dr Ghiloni is a theologian, an educator, an author, and a speaker on faith formation. He also has a background in leadership and management of church institutions and their programmes. He is currently Senior Research Fellow in Religion and Theology a...t the University of Queensland, and also works with the Centre for Public and Contextual Theology in Canberra. Previously, he has held positions in youth and family ministry, adult education, and theological training for ordinands. Aaron comes to the St James’ Institute with a keen interest in developing activities that are rich and relevant to the needs of our times and can attract the people of the city. He is also interested in providing the church with a ‘new voice’ in the public domain that is socially engaged, creative, and hospitable. We look forward to welcoming Aaron and his family into our midst and working with him in this vital ministry, both for our church and for the benefit of the community around us.
