25.01.2022 Look how much we've grown! To reflect on how far they've come, the Kindy students created colourful flowers featuring the things they've learnt since leaving pre-school. Today, to the surprise and delight of their former carers, we gifted some of these flowers back to the children's pre-schools as a thank you for the great work they do in preparing them for school! The pre-schools loved them.... Well done Kindy!

19.01.2022 This week all SJB students have participated in a number of science week activities. Students enjoyed making Harmonicas and discussing the different sounds made when using different materials. The younger students enjoyed the ‘Walking Water’ experiment where they observed colours travel from one cup to another via a paper towel. The science week quizzes tested all our general knowledge about science. Did you know that the largest living organ on the human body is skin? If your child would like to continue experimenting at home, we have included some fun activities below. Enjoy.

18.01.2022 An excellent day with my principals and education staff (2,600 gathered in person and online), launching the Towards 2025 strategy for the schools of Broken Bay.... Education is central to the mission of the Church, and principals, teachers and staff are among my closest collaborators. It was great to be with them as we discussed how to inspire hearts and minds to know Jesus Christ, love learning and aim for excellence in all we do.

01.01.2022 The Year 2 students had a great learning experience down at Narrabeen today. Facilitated by the Coastal Environment Centre, the children learnt about human impact on our coastal environment before taking a walk to see a bird's eye view of where the lagoon meets the ocean. After a walk along the beach for a discovery and discussion, they were safely guided onto North Narrabeen rock platform for a truly hands on tour and explore.
