14.01.2022 Our Kindergarten Transition program continued, with the children’s confidence growing as they become more familiar with new faces and people here at school. The children were busy working on various activities including finalising their very first publication that we are looking forward to reading next week. The final transition morning will be held next Wednesday (November 25). All children who are eligible to commence school in 2021 are welcome to join us on Wednesday morning for a taste of life at big school. There will be a meeting for Kindergarten 2021 parents on Wednesday at 11:00am to answer any further questions that you might have. For those families wanting to know more about what we do at St Joseph’s Primary School, please feel free to contact us.

The transition program will continue next Wednesday November 18. All children who are eligible to commence school in 2021 are welcome to join us on Wednesday morning for a taste of life at 'big school'. 11.01.2022 We have completed a banner for the forthcoming opening of the Bunnings store in Young. Everyone helped with the painting and our banner features a very well-known local. Our banner will be on display in Young in the coming weeks.

09.01.2022 Thanks to the P & F for a fantastic Japanese lunch today. Today is a labour day holiday recognising and giving thanks for the harvest, and all workers to who help to get the crops into storage. We celebrated with sushi and gyoza - and it was delicious! We used chopsticks and enjoyed the treat.... Thank you to Catherine, Sally and Marilyn for all of your efforts to make our lunch!

05.01.2022 Our Kindergarten Transition program concluded yesterday. The children’s confidence has grown each week and it was fabulous to see them joining in with increasing confidence each week. All children who are eligible to commence school in 2021 are welcome at St Joseph’s - even if your child did not make it to our transition days. Choosing a school for your child can create many questions, if you would like to know more about our school please touch base to discuss your queries.... We look forward to welcoming our new Kindergarten students in 2021!

03.01.2022 We recently visited the Grenfell Art Gallery to look at the current exhibition. It includes works by Jillian Reidy and her Mother, Merilyn McDonald, spanning different materials and themes. The students greatly enjoyed viewing the exhibition.
