20.01.2022 Lest We Forget..... Today we remembered all the Australians who have lost their lives in wars or conflicts. At 11 am, we marked the occasion with a minute's silence, to reflect upon our history and the sacrifices made.

08.01.2022 On Saturday we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation. Eight of our students and five others from around the Riverland received the Sacrament from Bishop Greg O'Kelly. It was a wonderful celebration and great chance to farewell and thank Bishop Greg for his service and leadership.

06.01.2022 The students focused on NAIDOC Week celebrating our First Nation people and their Dreaming stories. The students also painted pictures about Remembrance Day, remembering those who fought and died for the liberation and freedom of Australia and many other countries throughout the world.

04.01.2022 Is your child turning 13 soon, or already 13? The Australian Air Force Cadets is an excellent organisation which prides itself on developing the nation’s future leaders. By encouraging students to participate your school will see students develop maturity and responsibility beyond their years. Cadets provides strong links to defence and allows youth in the Riverland area to broaden their world view and experience activities not offered at schools, through intrastate, interstate and overseas trips and courses. They are recruiting now and also have "come, try and apply nights at 6 p.m. on Tuesday 24 Nov 20 and 1 Dec 20 in Berri. See the attached flyers for more info.

04.01.2022 The P&F Committee will be purchasing the below item for students to use in the STEAM Room. We invite families to place their own order using the attached order form, a copy is also getting sent home with students today. We will also add a video of some students using the knife and peeler in a separate post. The Kiddies Food Kutter is perfect for getting kids involved in cooking and meal preparation. It teaches fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, independence and builds self confidence. They are great for all skill levels for children and suitable for 2 years and over. Can be used for left and right handed and also kids with special needs and disabilities. The knife can be safely used to cut things from soft fruit to hard vegetables.

02.01.2022 The students have continued with working on Cartooning for Visual Arts. They had the option of drawing Mr. Reeks’ favourite cartoon character, Snoopy, from Peanuts by Charles Schulz, or creating their own cartoon character, focusing on showing different types of expression.
