08.01.2022 ROLL ON THRU COVID - A message from World Champ Natasha Van Eldik. Natasha fell into bowls as a teenager while waiting to undergo knee surgery due to soccer inj...uries. Her natural ability was spotted by the club coach and soon enough soccer was out, bowls was in! Natasha first represented Australia in the U18’s back in 2008 and has gone on to win a huge number of events, and she names winning three world titles in one year as a highlight of her career. She currently has over 300 International appearances under her belt. 2016 was a stand-out year earning Tash her three world titles, Australian Open Player of the Tournament as well as Singles Gold, culminating in the World Champion of Champions Women’s Singles title. What a year! 2018 wasn’t bad either awarding her two Commonwealth Games gold medals alongside a stellar line up in the triples and fours events. Always up for a bit of fun, Tash invites you to join her in a little game of lockdown hide and seek! Thanks Tash! Stay safe, look after your mates. #bowlsvic
