25.01.2022 Checklist to a great Christmas party: Christmas is around the corner and there are so many restaurants, bars, function rooms and venues being booked out. However, regardless of whether you've snagged up the best location for your function there are a checklist of things that you'll need for a great party wherever you go. 1. Location: Find the best restaurant or bar in a great location that will suit your budget and your guests. You don't want a party that is difficult to re...ach for all your guests. A central location in the inner city or suburbs such as St Kilda are ideal areas. 2. Set the date: Book and set a date that the function venue has free and one that also suits the rest of your party. For example, a work function on Christmas day might not be great, as guests might have commitment to family parties on that day. 3. Send out invitations: Whether it's by email or invites, send out details of location, date, time and RSVP dates. Perhaps you even want to organise a small gift exchange (buying a present under $10 suitable to exchange with anyone in the party). 4. Confirm your guest list: Going on from RSVP list, confirm the number with your venue manager to ensure that their team is equipped to serve you the best they can. 5. Ask for help: Don't be afraid to entrust some of your party with some duties. Such as coming 30 minutes earlier to help set up, helping to buy some decorations or chasing up RSVPs. 6.
