25.01.2022 The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference met recently and they have decided that on May the 24th (The Solemnity of Our Lady Help of Christians-Patroness of Australia and the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord) that all the Bishops will Entrust Australia to the care of Our Lady Help of Christians. The Bishops are asking that you entrust yourself to Our Lady Help of Christians this Sunday/Monday. This Sunday (24th May) during Bishop Columba's live-streamed Mass, he will enrust the diocese and its people to Our Lady Help of Christians. Attached to this post is a prayer card and words of encouragement to the people of God relating to this special event.

As she is the Patroness of our local Church her feast day is a Solemnity. Due to the very nature of it being a Solemnity and being our Patroness, I wish to advise you that her Solemnity is to be... transferred to the Saturday Vigil/Sunday Masses of the 28th & 29th of June 2020. Therefore, the 13th Sunday of Ordinary time is replaced with the Solemnity of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 2020. See more
