23.01.2022 All women are welcome to come and join in our monthly meetings, the second Tuesday of the month, February through to November, held at the church. This consists of a meeting discussing our fundraising and outreach endeavours, followed by a bible study. Be great to see you there

19.01.2022 As Gods children, we have been through so many challenges, so many hurdles, that have often made us stop and possibly reconsider our direction, our love, our faith. It is easy to understand why we do it, why we lose faith. When we have had things taken from us, possessions, jobs, our home, even, unfortunately for some of us, our loved ones. But the one thing that keeps many of us hanging on, is our faith. Our faith that builds us. Our faith that scaffolds us in the trying ti...mes that we are experiencing. Our faith that continues to strengthen our resolve. Our faith that comforts us in the knowledge that better times are coming, that we will manage to overcome this trying time. Our faith in God that He knows our story, that He knows this is not the end. This pandemic that is sweeping our world is harming both those with faith and without. But, surely, for those with faith, it makes each day just that little easier, don't you think? 1 Corinthians 16:13 commands, "Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong." We are actually being told what to do. Simple instructions for how we are to overcome this. It's time to start listening to what the good book tells us, strengthen ourselves through the words of God "Father, thank you for this new day. Though I don't know all the challenges I'll face, I know You will be with me and You are my hope.You are my strength. You will give me wisdom as I seek Your prospective in Your Word. I pray for those who are hurting or lonely today- that you will comfort them. I pray for those who are ill- that you heal them. I pray for those that are concerned about what may come in the next uncertain hours- that you will grant them peace as they trust You. Thank you for being our safe haven and solid refuge because of the work of Christ and the Holy Spirit working in us." Amen.
