24.01.2022 Hi everyone! it's that time of the year again and we would like to make a list of everyone’s exam dates to put on the altar so we can pray for each other. Could everyone please comment below all their upcoming exam dates! All the best for exams and may God be with each one of you.

23.01.2022 Hi fam, adhering to the instructions of the diocese regarding all in-person church related services, there will be no more Youth, at church in person, until we hear it is safe to do so. Until then, we have taken many measures to move our fellowship online and through other mediums. These online means of communication will be really important over the coming period and we encourage you guys to get onto as many of them as possible. WE HAVE OUR FIRST ONLINE YOUTH MEETING 27/03.../2020 AT 8PM!!!! We will have a small online activity followed by some discussions! Discord: One of the measures we have taken in order to move our unity and warm interaction online, was setting up a discord server. Discord is a website and app (for both laptops and smartphones) that acts as an online community. Here, on our shared community "St Mary's Youth", we can have multiple channels dedicated to different sorts of conversation, alongside a general group one. Acting simply as a place to socialise and discuss spiritual passages or books as we plan to introduce, this platform will make it quite easy to congregate and share. 08.01.2022 DESIGN VOTING IS NOW OPEN (until Sunday 28th June) As you can see, some designs are green and some are red. Since the number of votes for green and red were so even, designers got to choose whether to design on green or red jumpers. Vote by liking your favourite jumper. Remember, you are voting for the jumper as a whole (design and colour). SO, the jumper with the most likes will be the colour and design of our 2020 YOUTH JUMPER. (You can vote for more than one). 04.01.2022 One time a bee flew into my sister’s shirt. I thought it would be a good idea to hit the bee into her arm (to hopefully kill it)...the bee stung her and gave her an allergic reaction. At least she knows she’s allergic to bees now.

04.01.2022 Hey SMASBY! This is just an announcement to let you know our Adelaide Coptic Youth app (SMASBY) is available on the Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS). Here are the links to them (or you can search for SMASBY in the playstore/appstore) -> Android (Play Store): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details... -> iOS (App Store): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smasby/id1489117173 The app currently has: Readings, Talks, Calendar, Home, Event/Feedback, and Social. Readings will be great if people can send any contemplations or verses they like so we can upload them on their behalf. Notifications have also been set up so the app will notify you (we will only use this for major announcements). Currently it runs a bit slow when the app hasnt been used for a while so if it takes a long time to load, dont be alarmed! This is a basic initial release so it's expected that there may be some issues . Make note of it and let Simon know so he can fix it before the next update. We're very open to any suggestions or concerns regarding the app so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you for being apart of our awesome community!
