19.01.2022 Dear parents, PDF Version of Newsletter Tripadvisor advises that the tiny village of Dripsey in Ireland hosts the world's shortest St Patrick's Day procession. It starts and ends at the two village pubs, 100 metres apart. Many Australian Catholics feel culturally like they are a short distance from Ireland. And while the Church has undergone a recent battering in the Emerald Isle, we give thanks to God for the Irish missionaries who have brought the Faith to the world, including our corner of it. 15.01.2022 Click here to access complete newsletter Dear Parents, 10 years ago this month I sent a Year 11 student to Rome for the canonisation of Blessed Mary MacKillop. An outstanding pupil and national-level public speaker, he is the only student I've encountered who devoutly practised the Faith, while his parents did not. No doubt assisted by the intercession of St Mary, the student in question was ordained to the priesthood in 2019. [ 657 more words ] http://smmc.nsw.edu.au/smmc-newsletter-week-2-term-4-2020/
