24.01.2022 We wish our 6 Tech Girl teams from St Mary's Catholic Primary School North Sydney (Sydney Catholic Schools) "Good Luck" in the competition and Virtual Showcase this weekend! We tried to sum up the 16 weeks of creative energy in this 30 seconds of video. Once again, we appreciate the time and efforts of our business mentors, parent helpers, and of course, the resilience and creativity of our Tech Girls! Thankyou Tech Girls Movement and Dr. Jenine Beekhuyzen OAM for the opportunity in creating a real-world and purposeful learning experience for our students.

I am thrilled that students have returned to face to face learning in the class...room, and I know there was a lot of excitement in our school communities this morning. The education of our kids is so important and we know that full time face to face teaching is the best way to learn. I would like to thank all the parents, teachers and students who have gone above and beyond during this challenging time. 12.01.2022 A big thank you to our wonderful parent community for the food and toiletry donations for Jesuit Refugee Services (JRS) The drive continues until the end of term. JRS organise over 250 deliveries reaching over 700 of our most marginalised members in our community.

08.01.2022 Refugee Week (Year of Welcome) starts from Sunday 14 June. St Mary's school, NS are helping this most marginalised group of people by having a food and toiletries drive during the month of June. Items for donation as advised by Jesuit Refugee Services are: Food: basmati rice, cooking oil, long-life milk, tinned tuna, red kidney beans, lentils, chickpeas, tinned fruit, biscuits, oats and cereal. Toiletries: nappies (large sizes), toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant (male and female) and soap.

This week the items brought in will be assembled as hampers for Jesuit Social Services (JSS), Western Sydney including Holy Family Primary school, Emerton. The Christmas items from the list can be brought in by your children to be placed in the Christmas Giving boxes in the child's classroom. ... These are: Biscuits: shortbread; sweet; and savoury, Bon Bons, Chips; nuts; confectionary, Christmas Fruit cake, Christmas Pudding, Chocolates, Tinned tuna, Tinned fruit Toiletry items: deodorants, soap, shampoo and conditioner, Toiletry gift packs, Packs of socks for adults You are also able to donate to Jesuit Social Services online.
