22.01.2022 Hi everyone, thanks to the people who have volunteered there time tomorrow to make our race meeting the great day it is. Everything is in place, the weather is ment to be fine, the track looks the best it has for a long time after the rains during December so it will be a great afternoon of racing. Just a note the gate admittance is $8 adults $5 pensioners and under 16 free. Just to clarify why we need to charge a admittence fee. ... As a small stand alone club the revenue we raise from the gate, kiosk and bar is used to fund the event as well as put money back into the stake money and the facilities around the course, as the gate is our biggest income to not ask a admittance fee would mean that we would not be able to continue 132 years of traditional New Year's Day races at St Marys. Thanks hope this clarifies for a few. Look foward to catching up tomorrow commitee SMPC See more

14.01.2022 Hi all, thought we could have a set up working bee around 9.00am Monday morning before the heat sets in, most is already done just few jobs requiring lifting then we can have a easier day Tuesday. We had a brainwave this morning to give the afternoon tea room floor a new coat of paint to go with the new kitchen floor, must say it brightened the room up nicely ready for Wednesday. To all campers, room is starting to run out with many vans already set up, I expect the golf club will allow camping Tuesday afternoon and will post information when I find out for sure. Thanks Craig 0437742351

12.01.2022 Hi all, the St Mary's pacing club held its Annual General Meeting last Friday night, and after much discussion about how Covid 19 restrictions would affect the race day. With the restrictions in place as directed by the Government Covid policies, Tasracing has been informed that the committee has voted to postpone our race meeting on New year's Day 2021.This decision was disappointing for all but the committee could not ensure that we could safely put on our unique race day for our patrons, and comply with Government directions. We apologise for those loyal people who traditionally head to St Mary's but hopefully we can catch up in 2022. Any queries give me a call. Regards craig

12.01.2022 Keep an eye out for the new TV ad for this year's meeting.
