19.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! In a year when everything has changed, it is comforting to see somethings endure. This week some of our fabulous staff and students began preparing for Advent by putting together our Nativity display at the entrance to the TRI Centre. Thank you especially to Mrs Ryan!

19.01.2022 Sam Pye's spoon made it to St Mary's Spoonville.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our September Aussie of the Month students Ryder is a kind and friendly student, who always tries his best during class activities. During the period of remote learning, Ryder has shown great resilience and always turns up to Zoom meets with a smile on his face. He has continued to work hard and tackle new challenges with a positive attitude and growth mindset. Keep up the great work Ryder! Isabella is a bright and bubbly member of her class. She has transf...erred her positive attitude towards school and learning to remote learning as she is always one of the first to join her meetings and eager to participate and socialise with her friends and teacher. Isabella is also a kind and considerate student who checks in on her peers and is always willing to help anyone who needs it. She takes a lot of pride in all that she does, ensuring that all the work that she submits is completed to the best of her ability and she is not afraid to reach out and ask for help when needed. Isabella often goes above and beyond in her work always completing any challenges or extra tasks that are sent. Thank you Isabella for always being such a positive and enthusiastic member of our class. Aidan has shown himself to be a reliable, helpful and resilient class member over this year. He is always one of the first children present in meetings, always comes with a smile and something to lighten the mood. He is an excellent listener and has shown during remote learning that he is a careful reader which has allowed him to offer helpful suggestions and advice to his peers, often before his teachers have had time to address that concern. He encourages others and listens to and acts on feedback in a respectful manner on a consistent basis. Aidan you have shown all the traits of a resilient and reliable remote learner and for that we congratulate you!

06.01.2022 Congratulations to our November Aussie of the Month students Jeremy is a competent and perceptive student. He is helpful, cooperative and fully participates in all class activities, listening and following directions well. Jeremy actively engages in his own learning progress. He has developed sound skills in maths and readily takes on all math challenges. Jeremy was a confident online learner, consistently demonstrating an understanding of how to use online platforms during t...he teaching and learning process. As a St Mary’s School Captain, Jeremy has set an example of excellence in leadership, behaviour and cooperation. He takes his position seriously and has developed into a confident and articulate communicator. Well done Jeremy. Cooper has transitioned back into the school learning environment with ease. He has put a significant amount of effort into all set tasks, taking his time to complete his work neatly, in detail and to the best of his ability. This was evident in Cooper being one of the first students to receive his L’s for his pen licence this term. Cooper takes other’s wellbeing into consideration and helps fellow classmates with tasks. He has shown his flexibility when working with various learning buddies during group activities. Well done to a great start in Term 4 Cooper Thomas! Milania is an extremely helpful and cooperative student. She comes to school with a positive outlook, shows initiative and seeks new challenges. Milaina is a dedicated worker and puts great effort into all key learning areas. She has an extremely kind nature and an even kinder heart. She is empathetic towards others and is a compassionate friend. Milania will always offer a helping hand to those in need. She is a treasured and valued member of Prep. Congratulations Milania.
