We are looking for sponsorship for our amazing entertainment etc and we are always after amazing prizes for our chocolate wheel !

19.01.2022 Cleaning up this long weekend? The first opportunity to drop off items for the 2020 Fete White Elephant Stall will take place this coming public holiday Monday 9 March from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in the School Hall (Moynihan Street, Evatt). This gives you the perfect reason to go through the house, garage and shed over the long weekend to find items that are too good to throw away but are no longer needed or used. Given rain is predicted, please only bring donations between 2.00pm-...4.00pm on Monday. Please do not leave anything outside the hall at any other time. Please ensure that your goods are clean, stain-free and in good used condition. No mattresses, children’s car seats, broken or unusable items. There will be further drop off times over the following weekends leading up to the fete (2pm-4pm Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March and Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March). Items can also be dropped off in the School Hall each morning between 8.30am and 9.00am up until Wednesday 25 March prior to the Fete. We also have a limited ability to collect items for those in the community that are not able to get items to the school due to illness or disability. These collections will be done during school hours over the next few weeks. Please text Fete Collection to 0408 637 232 and one of the fete team will contact you to discuss collection.

04.01.2022 St Monica's Fete - Postponed Due to the ACT Government cancelling various local Canberra events we have followed suit and cancelled our Fete to be held on Saturday 28 March. While extremely disappointing for our community, we hope to look at options for later in the year. ... Please continue to store the items you were considering dropping off to the White Elephant Stall this weekend and next. We are planning to store the items that have already been donated, but just don't have the capacity to store more items for now. Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time for the local community.

02.01.2022 As the sun sets on the last day of ACT School Holidays, we welcome all new and returning parents/carers...... D E A R // Parents & Carers, We love them too.... We know it’s taken you mountains of strength to lift your heavy feet to walk away from your baby while you leave them in our classroom. To thrust them into this new world of cohorts and competition, a world you feel they will have to navigate themselves without you beside them. But, please know, they won’t be alone, they are with us. We love them too. From their very first day, beaming with pride in their freshly ironed uniform, we fall a little bit in love with their wide eyed excitement and their timid, sweet charm, their need to tell us all about their family holiday to the coast and their subtle nod to the squeaky new shoes on their feet. Then as the weeks roll by, we fall a lot in love with their cheeky sense of humour and how they stutter when they get excited. We grow in awe of their gentleness to others and their wishes to make big changes with such small feet. We love them too. We get to know when they need their puffer, when they are about to burst into tears, when they need just a second longer to get their thoughts out. We hug them in tight when they are sad, laugh along side them then they make a mistake, gloat with them when they nail a new skill and push them that bit harder when they aren’t believing in themselves. We love them too. We promise to keep them happy and safe, to build them up when they feel like they aren’t good enough, encourage them when we know they can do it and teach them all the new things. But, please know, while we love them too, you will always be their number one. You are the ones they write about in their story books, the ones they paint pictures of, the ones they role play during free time. You are the ones they pray for in prayer time, the ones they talk about with their new friends and the ones they are counting down to see at 3pm. 02.01.2022 Our annual fete is coming up again on Saturday 28 March 2020. Our theme this year is 'Everyone Belongs' with a focus on multiculturalism and diversity. You can expect BIG and BRIGHT from our fete team this year and we want to see YOU there!

02.01.2022 Our hall located in Moynihan Street, Evatt will be open from 2pm to 4pm today for our first White Elephant drop off. If you have any pre-loved items in good, clean condition we would love to take them off your hands. We are looking for household items and decor, small furniture items, sports equipment, toys, dress-ups, linen, crockery, bric-a-brac, garden items etc. We are also collecting pre-loved clothing and books. Please no mattresses or car seats. No broken or stained items.
