25.01.2022 Enrolments for Three Year Old Kindy are now open! Do you know we have a Three Year Old Kindy Program here at St Simon Peter? Our Three Year Old Kindy program runs 5 days per week during the School term and offers a wide variety of activities for children to learn through play. The Three Year Old Kindy at SSP is your child’s first introduction to School. It is an early childhood, play based learning program that is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, for children wh...o have turned 3 years of age or are turning 3 before the 30th June that year. The program provides children with meaningful experiences that promote spiritual, social, emotional, language, intellectual, creative and physical development. The Three Year Old Kindy Service is approved for Child Care Subsidy, a Government rebate to help families with the cost of care. There are 2 enrolment options within the Three Year Old Kindy program to meet families’ needs in our community. Option 1 Short Session: Teacher lead program from 9:00am 2:30pm. Option 2 Long Session: Children can be dropped off anytime from 7:00am and collected anytime by 6:00pm. Teacher lead program from 9:00am 2:30pm. 12.01.2022 Enrolments for Long Day Care are now open! Our School is unique in that your Schooling experience at St Simon Peter can begin as early as 2 years old! Our on-site Early Learning Centre includes a multi aged Long Day Care with ages ranging from 2- 5 years as well as our Three Year Old Kind Kindy Program. The Long Day Care runs from 7:00am- 6:00pm Monday Friday, 50 weeks per year, only closing on Public Holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. The Serv...ice is approved for Child Care Subsidy, a Government rebate to help families with the cost of care. Breakfast, Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea and Late Snack are provided. It is a play-based learning environment that is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The EYLF is a National Framework for children birth to 5 years that Educators use as in partnership with families to develop learning programs that are responsive to children’s interests, ideas, strengths and to recognise that children learn through play. The Educators pride themselves on the nurturing and respectful relationships they create with both children and families that attend the ELC. To celebrate, Meerilinga and Nature Play have teamed up with the Department of Education to establish 3 interactive walking trails throughout Perth over the next 2 weeks to encourage outdoor engagement and explore more of our amazing local nature! 02.01.2022 We are already halfway through the term with only 45 days until Christmas! Our Summer Vacation Care Program will be released in Week 7 of the term and all the details are now being finalised! The last day of school is Friday 11th December and the first day of the school holidays will be Monday 14th December. Please not the dates below where OSHC will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period for your reference

01.01.2022 Here are some of the amazing raffle prizes that could be won in our National Breast Cancer Foundation fundraiser!!! Tickets are on sale from today (20/10/20) and will continue until next Thursday the 29th October 2020. The raffle will be drawn on Friday the 30th of October 2020. Price for tickets are: 1 ticket for $2.00 or 3 tickets for $5.00. There is no limit for tickets purchased and you are more than welcome to tell friends and family to buy tickets too.
