25.01.2022 Well done to all students who represented STCS at the Inter school carnival today. Our athletes participated with great enthusiasm and energy and were gracious competitors. Thank you to our team for showing such wonderful school spirit!



24.01.2022 Tomorrow for Young Explorers we will be continuing to explore colour. Last week it was lovely to see the interactions and conversations happening as you engaged with your children while doing the activities. I could hear some great questions being asked while moving around the room throughout the morning. We look forward to seeing you all for a 9am start in the Kindergarten room.

12.01.2022 Lunchtime soccer with coaches from FFT is a great experience for our Grade 1, 2 and 3 students. This four week program has been made possible through a grant we received from Sporting Schools.

12.01.2022 Today our Kinder to Grade 2 classes really enjoyed learning about St. Francis of Assisi through Godly play with a special visitor. Sister Margaret visited as part of our school and parish project recognising the Pope’s encyclical Laudato Si. We are focusing on how we can care for the environment.

09.01.2022 This term Grade 5 students participated in the Drumbeat program which focuses on exploring emotions through drumming. We thoroughly enjoyed their performance on Friday where they shared their new skills.

04.01.2022 This week all of our classes participated in a gymnastics session with coaches at HGA. Much fun was had and perhaps a few stars of the future identified!! This opportunity was fully funded through a Sporting Schools grant we received.

04.01.2022 In September we are focusing on the Pope's encyclical 'Laudato Si', in care of our common home, and together with the parish, there are some important events occurring. We are particularly thinking about being more sustainable and how we can care for the earth. Over the weekend of the 12th and 13th of September, there will be a reflection during each Mass, presented by the school, about what we have been doing in this space. We would love to see as many students and families along to Mass over this weekend as we can.
