24.01.2022 What a beautiful morning for our National Walk Safely to School Day and Healthy Bones Breakfast. Weve had lots of fun and loved seeing so many children joining in. Also an extra special thanks to our sponsors Woolworths Charnwood, Canberra Milk and Capitol Chilled Foods for providing cereal, milk and fresh fruit.
24.01.2022 To help keep STA a safe place for all our students, we are moving back to level 2.2 restrictions. Here are the key points that were sent home via email yesterday: What does this mean for our families? Parents and Carers can only come into the school building if you have an appointment with a member of staff or are here to attend a small meeting arranged by the school where adults can socially distance. Parents and Carers can come onto the school grounds to drop off or pic...k up their children, but may not remain on school grounds for a prolonged time. This means that: - once you drop off or collect your child you will need to leave the school grounds as soon as possible. - we request that at the end of the day you arrive as close to the bell time as possible or stay in your car until just before the bell. We will continue to have a staff member at drop off and pick up. However we have returned to one line for afternoon pick up - please be patient. If your child is not able to do up their own seatbelt, please park and collect your child from the courtyard. If your child displays cold or flu-like symptoms you will be called to collect your child as soon as possible. We have been asked to limit the number of volunteers onsite to those who are essential for the running of the school. Whole school assemblies inside the hall will not take place. Students will continue to gather in the courtyard in the mornings and after break times. However parents will no longer be able to stay for the morning assembly. Adult visitors will need to enter through the front office and sign in. Excursions can occur. However numbers are limited. Overnight camps cannot occur at this stage. The Sacramental Program will continue in line with restrictions for Masses and gatherings. Further information will be provided at the formation evening. On-site fundraisers can go ahead with limited volunteer support Thank you everyone for your continued understanding and support during this time
