24.01.2022 Adelaide’s new Archbishop, Patrick O’Regan, will celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Sunday in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral - this Sunday 5 ...July. The national Mass will be accessible to people around Australia through live streaming on the NATSICC and Archdiocesan websites. ATSI Sunday is usually celebrated in churches across the country to mark the beginning of NAIDOC Week, but COVID-19 restrictions prompted the Council to revise its plans. The theme of this year’s event is Together in the Spirit. Archbishop O’Regan is looking forward to celebrating this significant event in his new archdiocese of Adelaide, on the land of the Kaurna people. 09.01.2022 2/3MD Class Liturgy This week 2/3MD gathered in prayer to celebrate God's enduring love for each of us. The students were very engaged and participated gracefully and respected the sacred space.
09.01.2022 NUDE FOOD DAY We went package-free this week by encouraging our students to pack a ‘nude’ lunchbox. Nude Food is rapidly growing in Australia and St Thomas More School encourages all families to consider packing lunch boxes without pre-packaged food. This not only reduces the amount of waste going to landfill (which is great for the environment), it encourages healthy eating and saves money. Our families (as always) responded with gusto to our Nude Food day, sending lunches in durable, reusable containers. #NudeFood #HealthyEating
