17.01.2022 The Coming of the Holy Spirit 1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability. 5 Now there were devout Jew...s from every nation under heaven living in Jerusalem. 6 And at this sound the crowd gathered and was bewildered, because each one heard them speaking in the native language of each. 7 Amazed and astonished, they asked, Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own native language? 9 Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya belonging to Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabsin our own languages we hear them speaking about God’s deeds of power. 12 All were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, What does this mean? 13 But others sneered and said, They are filled with new wine. 14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them, Men of Judea and all who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to what I say. 15 Indeed, these are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning.

08.01.2022 More Colour Run FUN

08.01.2022 We ask that parents do not park on Fairway Drive waiting for 2:45 or 3:00pm to be able to pick up siblings in Years 3-6 or older children respectively. This is causing significant frustration for parents who are wishing to pick up younger children and are held up in the queue. There are plenty of parking spaces available in the main car park at school. Please park and wait at the tree or time your pick up to arrive after 2:45pm. The drive through is working well and the staggered times mean that the traffic flows more smoothly. We thank you for your patience and assistance to ensure the safety of all of our students and community members.

08.01.2022 Congratulations Year 6 students!

07.01.2022 School Bags need to be in the car with children, not in the boot. If children need to access their bag from the rear of the car, please park and assist, rather than using the drop off zone.

05.01.2022 Melissa and Mark Anderson are raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation by participating in the Dry July campaign. This is very close to their hearts as on 31st March this year, their eldest child Cooper (Grade 6) has been affected by blood cancer, diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). As heartbreaking as it is, their wish is to raise awareness and for no parent to experience their child to go through this battle with blood cancer. Join us in donati...ng for Dry July this year and help us attack blood cancer from every direction and help Coopers battle with Leukaemia. If you would like to support the important work of The Leukaemia Foundation which helps children and families affected by Leukaemia please donate to: http://www.dryjuly.com/users/melissa-anderson-5 with all funds put towards Melissa and Mark Anderson’s Dry July campaign (100% of funds go to the Leukaemia Foundation). On Friday 31st July, St Vincents staff and students are invited to wear something orange (or red) with their uniform in supporting Cooper and show an act of solidarity with the work of the Leukaemia Foundation. We will join together in a whole school prayer that will acknowledge Catholic Education Week as well as pray for the sick, their families and health workers.
