18.01.2022 We achieved a great deal on the recent club trip to Two Thumbs Wildlife Sanctuary. We built a wombat enclosure, fixed up a partially burnt open ended shed, removed burnt trees and fences, helped feed and water rescued Koalas who are getting healthy again for release, removed a HUGE pile of their dead boughs, collected fresh boughs, swept out their enclosures, tidied up bales of burnt fences, wire, barbed wire and star pickets, and enjoyed hot showers and a camp fire every night of our 10 day stay. We are looking forward to going out again to help out in any way we can. All attendees should be extremely proud of themselves and what we achieved. Great effort!

14.01.2022 Trips are filling up fast but we still have spots available on this day trip through the Brindies. There are also few new trips that have gone up in the last few days that also have space. https://st4wdc.com.au/activity/friday-in-the-brindies-2/

14.01.2022 Perfect weather for a day trip out to Stewart’s Crossing and a swim yesterday.

13.01.2022 Driver Training this weekend was a little different with the creek crossing into home paddock impassable for most vehicles. We managed by setting up camp and an open air training room at offset mounds, and revising track routes to avoid several water logged sections of our usual tracks/areas. Congratulations to our new club members on the achievement of their Basic Driver Training. A great weekend was had by students, their families and our Driver Trainers.

12.01.2022 Friendly reminder that Scammers are still out there so buyer beware! What a bargain! Who has room for a RAAF plane to land on their street!

05.01.2022 To give effect to the new Public Health Direction, ACT Policing has established a check point at the ACT/NSW border. Police are stopping cars entering Canberra ...on the Federal Highway to speak with them about the new Health Directions and any quarantine requirements. Delays are expected. For everyone’s safety please be patient, follow the signs, slow down when approaching the check point and listen to instructions from police. If you are not an ACT resident and have been in the Northern Beaches, Greater Sydney, Central Coast or Wollongong Local Government Areas of NSW and don't have a valid exemption, don't visit Canberra.

01.01.2022 Been many years since there's been enough rain to have to mow the grass in home paddock. Such a difference the rainfall has made.
