Founded by hosts operating in WA, STAAWA is a new organisation formed to bring together people working in the Short-Term Accommodation (STA) space in Western Australia. The businesses which will be represented include all types of property managers, homeowners and hosts currently offering short term accommodation In Western Australia. This organisation has been founded by operators with local knowledge of local conditions unique to the Western Australian experience. The organisations aim is to provide information, tips, tricks and training on all aspects of the Short-Term Accommodation Industry. It will also assist LGAs (Local Government Authorities) to form policy on Short Term Accommodation in their area and become one voice for all Western Australian operators. This role is a staged rolled. 1. Understanding the offering of STAAWA, being able to articulate advantages to members and potential members. 2. Establish and publish Standard Operating procedures for all aspects of the role 3. Locate and reach out to other hosts in WA encouraging them to join STAAWA via Social media, personal contact and telephone conversations, creating a data base as you progress. 4. Assist in forming the policy guidelines that will be supplied to all LGAs to assist and guide them to form workable policy going forward 5. Contact LGAs and develop a plan for consistent contact and follow. 6. Create and contribute to members blog and newsletters as and when required SKILLS: Proficient in all the Office suit of programs Not be afraid to pick up the telephone and talk to people Excellent English-Speaking and writing skills Previous understanding of the STA Industry a bonus.

Outdoor spaces and courtyards 4. Affordable for families rather than having to book multiple rooms to accommodate a family.... A typical hotel room will generally only consist of a studio room with bed and bathroom, while short-term rental properties are generally fully furnished and self-contained properties that have separated living and bedroom spaces as well as a kitchen. Guests that book short-term rentals can avoid busy hotel lobbies and hallways, and instead enjoy the privacy of a home that is located in a residential street or building.
