We recently tried some new stable bedding RWP, it comes in a form of compressed pellets and you lightly wet it and it swells and breaks down into bedding, it is so easy to prepare and easier to keep clean as it is finer and falls through the poop scoop leaving only the poop behind. Thank you Grandridge Saddlery for all your help and customer service' Sandra and Gary Mills "I have been using Renewable Wood Pellets in my stables now for around 2 months. I have found them to be easy to use, and very easy to clean up after my horses have stayed in the stable overnight. The bedding also encouraged my horses to lay down and sleep. This was something I was extremely pleased with as one horse in particular had suffered from sleep deprivation in the past as he was reluctant to lie down in other bedding. Clean up is simple and quick - I can use the rakes I already have, I was happy there was no need to buy special equipment. The pellets don't have an overpowering smell and they fall through the rake easily which means I'm not losing half of them with the manure and they don't stick to the horse rugs or tails. They are also easily swept up from the stable breezeways and don't get stuck in the broomheads even when wet. When I need more to top up, they are available in bags that are light enough to lift myself and they can mix through other sawdust that may already be there, no need to completely empty the stable before you can use these pellets.
