25.01.2022 Carrot Cake Bliss Balls are one of the quickest bliss balls that you can make. These little balls of goodness are from the Eat Well book/collection and can be found at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r148678. The physical Eat Well book is part of the gift with purchase of a TM6 in September. I used the dried coconut from making coconut milk a couple of days ago and just added a couple of extra dates to make sure the mix was moist. Using a small ice cream scoop to portion out the mix gives you nice even bliss balls. #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #blissballs #carrotcake @thermomixaus

25.01.2022 This Tomato Pasta Sauce recipe makes store bought pasta sauces redundant! Out of the Thermomix TM5 and TM6 Basic Cookbook, you can tweak it to your own personal tastes or just make it as per the recipe. See the link and some tweaking ideas at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//tomato-pasta-/ #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus #pastasauce @thermomixaus

24.01.2022 I wanted to do something a bit more original so came up with this no bake chocolate hazelnut slice. The recipe is at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//no-bake-choco/ #TM5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus @thermomixaus

23.01.2022 One of the new modes introduced with the Thermomix TM6 is the Rice Cooker Mode. The TM6 now makes cooking rice even easier than ever before. Just add the appropriate amount of rice and water to the bowl, select rice cooker mode and it will do the rest. To make it even easier, I buy 5kg bags of rice when they are on sale and divide it into 300g pre measured bags. This is enough rice for 4 to 6 people. Rinse the rice well before adding it into the bowl with 450g of water and selecting the rice cooker mode. With the rice cooker mode, the rice goes into the actual bowl, not into the internal basket which was the previous method in the TM31 and TM5. #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaustralia #rice @thermomixaus

21.01.2022 You don’t always have to make a full meal in the Thermomix. Tonight I made a Greek spice mix to toss over baked corn & zucchini and garlic mushrooms....served with baked pork loin (and hashed browns for the zucchini haters!). The garlic mushrooms are from https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r131503 and the Greek spice mix my own creation. #tm6 #tm5 #thermomix #garlicmushrooms @thermomixaus

21.01.2022 I tripped over a bag of Liquorice in my pantry that I had bought to make ice cream with. I finally got around to doing it tonight. Dessert for tomorrow!!!! 21.01.2022 Information just released from Thermomix on a new companion device that is currently under development. Looks really interesting https://thermomix.com.au/pages/friend

21.01.2022 Mexican Cornmeal Rolls - These rolls were born from the Easy Everyday White Bread recipe from the Everyday Cooking for Thermomix Families cookbook. I've had some Masa Harina sitting around for a while so played with this recipe for lunch today. I've posted the resulting recipe to my blog at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//mexican-cornm/ #tm6 #tm5 #thermomix #breadrolls #masaharina #thermomixbread @thermomixaus

19.01.2022 If anyone would like a cooking experience, virtual or in personal, I am more than happy to oblige. I am in the probably fairly unique position of not only having constantly available a TM31, TM5 and TM6, but also access to and knowledge/experience of all of the major alternatives to the Thermomix, both domestic and commercial. I am always happy to discuss the pros and cons of the different machines. Im happy to also help out with questions on the TM31 and TM5 as well as the TM6. When you purchase a Thermomix, you also get a support network to go along with it!

19.01.2022 Rosemary Salt is part of the Smashed Potatoes with Rosemary Salt recipe from Cookidoo. The Rosemary Salt makes a great gift in an attractive jar. For longer storage, dry the Rosemary & salt mix in a dehydrator or oven at very low temperature. The recipe can be found at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r89824. The recipe can be successfully doubled. #tm5 #tm6 #rosemarysalt @thermomixaus

18.01.2022 I didn't have a lot of time free to cook today at work, but wanted something sweet to put on the counter. I chose this recipe from Cookidoo https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r491206 "Fudge" from the Cooking With Sugar Stages - UK and Ireland collection. The beauty of this recipe is that it is basically a set and forget recipe. The TM6 works out the timing for you....you just have to weigh the ingredients in, start it and walk away until it chimes, wait for the contents to cool to 80C, finish the guided steps and lick the scraper clean. The fudge is similar in texture to a Scotish Tablet. #tm5 #tm6 #thermomixaustralia #fudge @thermomixaus

18.01.2022 If you have never made a madeleine, this is a good one to start with. Chocolate with a hint of orange, Jaffa Madeleines look very beautiful dusted with icing sugar. For an additional chocolate hit, you can also dip the tips in some good quality melted dark or white chocolate or double dip in both. The recipe can be found at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r250029 in the Meals in a Flash Collection, Australia and New Zealand. Don't forget that you can use your thermomix to make the icing sugar to dust your madeleines with. Instructions are in you Basic Cookbook or available on Cookidoo, at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r68366.

18.01.2022 I dont very often get deep and meaningful but I bought a book called Sunrise Gratitude that is 365 morning meditations. The one for September 12 has resonated with me... The path to success is not straight and narrow. Many diversions, doubts, and mistakes happen along the way. Milestones remind you of what you are working toward. Celebrate the small successes you achieve along the way. When confusion and fear surface, remind yourself how far youve come. Keep looking toward... your objectives and make moves every day to achieve your dreams. Be flexible and adapt to change. Your life is supposed to be an incredible journey. Given how twisty 2020 is turning out to be, it was a good reminder for me to just keep taking baby steps forward.....and my next baby step is to head out to check out some nurseries today on the Gold Coast to see what food plants I can find for my little food forest garden :). I hope everyone has a great day See more

16.01.2022 Even after 13 years, it still amazes me how easily the Thermomix turns cream into butter. It is even easier now with the guided cooking. Homemade butter means you know exactly what is in your butter and you can customise it to your own taste. Keep your eyes open for discounted cream at the supermarket, older cream makes great butter. Store the butter and buttermilk in the freezer for future use. I don't normally keep the buttermilk from thickened cream, but always grab pur...e cream when it is on sale and save the buttermilk from it in the freezer for bread, scones and other baked goods. Always use very very cold water when doing the rinse of the butter solids. I normally let the butter solids sit for a couple of minutes in the cold water to allow them to "harden". I usually do two rinses....the more buttermilk you can rinse out, the better the butter will store. Working the solids after the rinse with butter paddles will help to remove more of the liquid from the butter. You can also use the paddles or a butter press to help form the butter into traditional blocks. See more

16.01.2022 Buttermilk Bread with Homemade Riccotta and Italian Herbs. This is a very different dough to yesterdays. Read more about it at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//buttermilk-br/ #bread #buttermilkbread #tm5 #tm6 #thermomixaus @thermomixaus

15.01.2022 Im sure that putting goji berries into chocolate chip muffins makes them superfood muffins! I know that Ive read somewhere that dark chocolate is also good for you. The recipe is posted at http://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//jaffa-goji-ber/ #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus #muffinrecipe #gojiberries @thermomixaus

14.01.2022 This is another recipe that is easy to tweak and individualise. Olive Bread Rolls from Cookidoo https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r80618. They are from the Bread, UK & Ireland Collection. I made two batches, one as per the recipe in the TM6 and the other (swapping 100g flour for 100g of wholemeal flour and adding in two tablespoons of mixed herbs) in the TM5. The addition of the wholemeal flour adds an extra "earthy" dimension to the rolls.

13.01.2022 I love using my Thermomix TM31, TM5 and TM6 to prepare jams, chutneys and sauces. It is very easy to cook small batches making use of seasonal specials from your local farmers market, supermarket or green grocer. I have a fourth burner pot that I use to water bath smaller jars for longer term shelf storage. I also have a bigger canning pot, but the small one is ideal for small batch jams, sauces etc or just for jarring left over currywurst sauce, teriyaki sauces and others. Make sure you always sterilise your jars & equipment and follow safe preserving practises. #tm6 #tm5 #thermomixaustralia #thermomix @thermomixaus

13.01.2022 Every now and then, I remember an old trick. I am so used to "cooking" in my Thermomix, I forget that it is also great for reheating. Today I reheated leftover Fish Soup in the TM5. Set the time to 7 minutes, temperature to 90, speed to 1.5 and walk away. Come back to nice rewarmed soup, dump some leftover Rouille sauce in the middle and you have a gourmet lunch at work. #tm6 #tm5 #reheat #thermomixaustralia @thermomixaus @ Commercial Food Equipment (Qld.) 13.01.2022 I thought I'd have a bit of fun and instead of just posting pictures of the finished Steamed Bread Rolls....I threw together a little video.

13.01.2022 One way to pay for your new TM6 is to "Earn" it. Normally 6 sales are required over the 60 Day Program (the first two months) to pay for your TM6, but for consultants who "start" in the month of September, Thermomix Australia are reducing the number of sales required to only 4. The terms and conditions are in the second picture.

12.01.2022 Coconut Milk is a great basic to make in your Thermomix. You can make the exact amount you require for a recipe, avoiding the leftover dregs that come with using tinned coconut milk. The coconut pulp can be dried or frozen to be used when baking, in smoothies or as a base for bliss balls. The guided recipe can be found at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r112533 #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus @thermomixaus

11.01.2022 Im not very fond of white chocolate, but I do like dark chocolate, fudge and Oreos. I couldnt find a recipe that appealed to me so came up with my own. It can be found at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//chocolate-ore/ #tm6 #tm5 #thermomix #thermomixaus #condensedmilk #fudge @thermomixaus

11.01.2022 We were left a rather large quantity of Chantilly Cream at work yesterday after a demo. I hated to see it go to waste (particularly as the rep pilfered my vanilla bean paste to put in it). I had some buttermilk in the fridge so made some Buttermilk Scones (Everyday Cooking for Thermomix Families or on Cookidoo at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r70903). Before my thermomix days (13 years ago :D), I avoided making scones because I was terrible at it. I hated the feeling of the butter squelching through my fingers when rubbing it into the flour and could never work the dough lightly enough. Now I can make scones that DON'T look and taste like little rocks!!!!! #cookthecookidoo

10.01.2022 This is a great recipe for when Oreos are on sale....I have made it several times with the standard Oreos but today's batch was made with Salted Caramel Oreos and I doubled the amount of chocolate to go on the top to make it almost caramel slice'ish. I also use a few more oreos than specified in the topping (usually 10 instead of the 6). The original recipe can be found at http://thermofun.com/wicked-wednesday-no-bake-oreo-bars-re/

10.01.2022 This is one of my favourite recipes...well actually part of a recipe. If you have vegetable haters in your family, try serving them with the cheese sauce from the Homemade Nachos Chips with Cheese Sauce, Hip Hip Hooray!, Australia and New Zealand (https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r138799) This recipe only takes a few minutes to make and has been a winner with everyone Ive made it for. #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #cheesesauce #hidethevegetables @thermomixaus

09.01.2022 A simple pastry bake. Cheesy Salmon Pasta Bake using canned salmon, creamed corn, dry pasta and frozen vegetables http://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//cheesy-salmon-/ #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus #pastabake @thermomixaus

07.01.2022 Pot set yoghurt is one of the Thermomix TM6 recipes that makes use of the new Fermentation mode. Using the guided recipe on Cookidoo https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r429910, it is possible to have a tasty healthy breakfast ready in minutes. I make mine using powdered milk and have posted how I do it on my blog at http://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaustralia #potsetyoghurt #yoghurt @thermomixaus

06.01.2022 I'm currently making some steamed bread rolls to go with some roast pork (sliders) for dinner (more about them later).....and I thought that these photos were worth posting....the recipe calls for the rolls to rise for 1 hour or until doubled. Our showroom at work is quite chilly today and it has taken an hour and a half for the rolls to ALMOST double. If I had just let them rise for an hour, they would end up being heavy little rocks! Using the Varoma makes it easier to judge whether they have doubled as you can use the steam vents as a guide.

06.01.2022 Even with a tiny kitchen, or away from your normal one. You can still enjoy a cafe style breakfast if you have a Thermomix. This is my conversion of an Australian Womens Weekly recipe for Scrambled Egg Breakfast Wraps. Ive posted my conversion to https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//scrambled-egg/ #tm31 #thermomix #thermomixaus @thermomixaus #scrambledeggs

04.01.2022 Mashed Potato is one of those classic Thermomix basic dishes. It was one of the very first things I cooked years ago in my TM31 and is even easier now with the guided cooking functionality of the TM5 & TM6. For best results, use a floury potato like a King Edward or Couliban, and make sure that the potato is well cooked before mashing. I have the link to this and a couple of other mashed potato recipes at https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//mashed-potato/ #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thermomixaus #mashedpotato @thermomixaus

04.01.2022 Thai Chilli Chicken and Basil from The Basic Cookbook (and on Cookidoo at https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r68556) Quick and easy for a weeknight dinner #tm5 #tm6 #thermomix #thaichicken @thermomixaus

03.01.2022 I felt like something hot for lunch today so grabbed some zucchinis on the way through to work to make a Zucchini Slice. I have posted about this recipe before, but not the Cookidoo link https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r79761. It made a nice change from all the sweet baking I've been doing lately.

01.01.2022 Rolling out now to the Thermomix TM6 are some great new modes and features, including Egg Boiler, Warming, more advanced cleaning and how to videos on the TM screen. More about them at my blog https://staceybrownthermomixconsultant.com//new-modes-for/ (information & photos courtesy of TM Australia) #tm6 #tm5 #thermomixaustralia #thermomix @thermomixaus
