25.01.2022 Ok, these Stadium Stomp Virtual stories just keep getting more phenominal. This man is an alien. Not really but he must be super human because he completed 25,000 stairs on a stair master in 7hr 10min. Now, being on a stair master means it was ALL uphill. You know we count the stairs going down too but not Matt! He crazy A serious amount of mental toughness goes into pulling something like this off. I guess he has that in spades with all the Obstacle Races he does for fun. Well done Matt! Amazing effort. He’ll probably never look at stairs the same way again. Does he hate us now? Maybe tomorrow when he has to walk somewhere...

25.01.2022 Possibly the most beautiful sets of stairs we've come across, Batu Caves temple complex in Malaysia. Another one for the bucket list

24.01.2022 Stairs. It's a cardio workout and a strength workout in one. Work your glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves. Build power, speed, agility, strength and cardio vascular endurance. You don't need equipment, you don't need a gym membership. It's no wonder we stairs!

24.01.2022 Virtual stomping in Melbourne be like... Well for the first few laps anyway, until it got too huffy and puffy and I couldn’t do the mask anymore, but I figured if you’re allowed to run without said mask then surely a stair workout is just as vigorous if not more so. I just left it around my neck and popped it back on when people were using the stairs. What’s everyone else in Melbourne doing with masks and stair workouts? stadiumstompvirtual #maskupmelbourne #stairworkout

11.01.2022 On this day last year, our Brisbane Stompers were hitting the grandstands of The Gabba. A cold start to the morning, followed by beautiful Brissie sunshine ! These excited Junior Stompers enjoyed the last wave of the day.

08.01.2022 Stadium Stomp 2020 update When we last provided you with an update, the COVID-19 situation across the country seemed to be moving into recovery mode and we were hopeful of re-scheduling some or all Stadium Stomp events to the latter part of 2020. Unfortunately, like most things this year, this didn’t quite go to plan.... With the ongoing public health guidelines combined with border restrictions (our staff are Melbourne based), we are sorry to confirm that we cannot deliver a Stadium Stomp event series in 2020, and our focus turns to 2021. We recognise and share your disappointment but trust you understand the unique circumstances. Registered participants have been sent an email with more information. Please check your inbox (including spam) for this. We reassure you that our team, with the support of our Venue Partners, are doing everything we can to ensure Stadium Stomp can return in a COVID safe way when the time is right. Finally, we are truly grateful for all the kindness, patience and understanding that so many of you have provided over the last few months, so a big thanks from the Stadium Stomp team.

07.01.2022 The days are getting longer, Spring is in the air! We a good Spring time stair session - and they're twice the fun with the fam!

07.01.2022 Have you ever wanted to climb 25,000 stairs in ONE day? No? Me neither but David did. This is David. He goes by an Alter Ego if DIESEL and he was one of the first to conquer Stadium Stomp Virtual and complete all four Stadium Stomp venues in one session - on day one. DIESEL's all about pushing himself beyond his comfort zone and good on him - that's the point when you know you're really ALIVE! He loves a challenge, he's a regular at Stadium Stomp MCG (ref in photo) and w...e loved watching his journey to achieve 25,000 stairs in a single rain soaked session which he brought to us via short video snippets on 5 July. He didn't know if he could do it and wasn't about to beat himself up about it if he couldn't but he gave it a crack. Just over 11 hours later and having raked up 21km he achieved his goal So this is for you David. - we know he wont mind the virtual beer - after all, he rewarded himself with a good sip of whiskey at the end of his 25,000 stair challenge So the moral of this story? Never underestimate your own strength or ability. You're stronger than you think and sometimes all it takes is one step at a time. Stomp on people! See more

07.01.2022 Are you enjoying #stadiumstompvirtual? Could you put a dollar value on that? We’re asking anyone not actively fundraising to consider donating your enjoyment amount to one of our charity partners. We’ve raised almost $50K. It would be so good to tick this over and above that by tonight! We’re not asking for much, just a contribution ( if you are able and willing) toward the greater good. Three worthy charities all with need for community support Simply hit the donation button on our website, select a charity and donate https://virtual.stadiumstomp.com/home @blackdoginst @leukaemia_foundation @esf_victoria

06.01.2022 What do you know about the MCG? Built in 1853 and located in Melbourne, this is Australia's largest sporting stadium with a seating capacity of 100,024. It's a monster and a FANTASTIC Stadium Stomp venue that boasts a stair climbing course of 7,300 stairs! The course will take anywhere from 45 minutes up to 2+ hours to complete depending on your fitness level. You’ll stomp all over the ‘G - around the grandstands of Level 1 and Level 4. Don’t let the slight incline of Level 1 fool you into thinking this course isn’t that hard after all. The steep sections of Level 4 are a challenge and they’ll will definitely get that heart pumping! Oh those legs will be sore for days!

06.01.2022 It's almost one month after those final stairs were logged in Stadium Stomp Virtual and TODAY (5PM) is the last day to get those fundraising dollars in! Stadium Stomp Virtual saw: - 92,153,246 stairs climbed in one month - Stompers from 23 countries around the globe join us... - $80,923 raised for charity so far...How high can we go?? A massive thanks to all of you for making the first ever Stadium Stomp Virtual such a huge success AND thanks for your support of our wonderful charity partners, Black Dog Institute, Emergency Services Foundation and Leukaemia Foundation www.stadiumstomp.com/virtual

04.01.2022 Stadium Spotlight - Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) The third stadium to stair climb in Stadium Stomp Virtual is the 48,000 capacity Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Located at Moore Park, the SCG is just 4km from the Sydney CBD and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. This is a 6700-stair course and if you were doing the real thing you'd be stomping in and out of grandstands, through the iconic members stand, under the belly of other grandstands and pretty much everywhere! We love this stair course because it's full of variety and takes you on a real tour of the stadium.

01.01.2022 SYDNEY, here's the date you've been waiting for! Stadium Stomp is returning to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday 11th July. As with all events, current ticket holders will be sent information in the coming weeks on how to re-register for $0 so watch your inbox (and check your spam filters). Tickets to the general public will go on sale shortly thereafter. That's 3 events locked in to the 2021 calendar, Adelaide will be announced next!

01.01.2022 So good! Well done to Gail Weston for making this sign whilst stomping toward her goal of 25,000 stairs by 4 August. It worked! She got a donation out of it by a gentleman passing by who appreciated Gail’s efforts fundraising for @blackdoginst - a cause close to the gentleman’s heart . Sometimes all it takes is one step in front of the other to make a difference (and a homemade sign ). #stadiumstompvirtual #stairworkout #stairclimbing #fitnesschallenge
