22.01.2022 Circular Head Council has been offered $803,241 under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LCRI) Program. 21.01.2022 Council are hosting the popular Bridges out of Poverty workshop. This is being provided free to all interested parties. It offers solutions that are practical and strategic, addressing every interactions through to policy implications in every sector. 20.01.2022 Balance is essential for the survival of regional communities. However, the opportunities are fast diminishing for our younger generations (particularly in agriculture/) due to corporate investment. I challenge our community and the North-West Coast to start seeing more than just the $$$. Once its sold it will never be owned by local people again, reducing the strength and resilience of our town. I believe government agencies (Federal, State, Local) need to develop a string...ent policy that takes land ownership into consideration for future generations that cannot speak today. Criteria must involve rigorous rules and percentages of how much foreign investment is needed, within every sector, not just this take over mentality thats occurred. I invite all State and Federal representatives who care where our country and the North-West Coast is heading to visit Circular Head whilst travel restrictions are in place; come and see for yourself. After all, isnt DEMOCRACY based on informed consent. Feel Free to Share Kind regards Cr Stafford IVES-HERES Peter Gutwein Gavin Pearce MP

19.01.2022 A fantastic night last night at the Stanley town hall. Thankyou to all that attended and raised issues.

17.01.2022 I thank the Premier and his team for making this really tough call and acknowledge the really difficult period this is and will be for all our highly valued hea...lth professionals at the NWRH and NWPH - you are my former colleagues and I really feel for you all at this time. This unprecedented action was necessary as your health and wellbeing and the health and wellbeing of your patients and our broader community is paramount at this time. So to that small minority of entirely selfish, ignorant and despicable NW Coasters who think they have it tough at the moment - you dont!! You are merely inconvenienced. It is not that hard to follow the rules and stay home. It is not that hard to only go out for essential items. It is not essential to visit family of friends at the moment and it is not essential to go to the shack. STOP BEING AN IDIOT AND LOOKING FOR WAYS TO EVADE THE POLICES DETECTION OF YOUR MINDLESS STUPIDITY. STAY HOME! See more
