24.01.2022 Each fortnight since April, Stage Qld has hosted tech managers and production staff from venues across Qld as they gather online to support each other and work tirelessly to re-open their venues. They share their challenges and successes - stories of venue closures and gentle re-openings, the heartbreak of over a thousand of their colleagues being "let go" and the long-term effect this will have on the industry, the massive learning curve of creating COVID-safe spaces and the joy of welcoming audiences back to their venues. Stage Qld is honored to support these passionate individuals, their venues and ultimately, their communities.
