25.01.2022 On the ELEVENTH hour Of the ELEVENTH day Of the ELEVENTH month WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

24.01.2022 Over the years of operating and having the pleasure of having great people staying with us we are going to post some of the photos our guests as well as myself have taken. Nothing will be in any order and we invite anybody that has stayed in Stanage to forward photos of their catches or scenery that is unique to Stanage no matter how long ago. Please forward to [email protected]. We will try to keep posting these videos as long as we can provided we have enough photos.

19.01.2022 Had a day in Rockhampton today picking up some new stock for STANAGE BAY MARINE. The road for the most part is still in reasonable condition, their is a lot of work being done on the culverts as well as some newly graded section. Tilpal creek is about 600ml under the bridge and the properties at that end to the middle of the road in have had some good rain. We are now finally getting some rain here which is much appreciated

17.01.2022 The road into Stanage currently has a lot of work being done on the culverts, please be mindful of the guys doing this and drive according to the conditions.

17.01.2022 A few more photos taken over the years of fishing the area around Stanage, Please forward your memories of Stanage to us via email to [email protected] or sms to 0427664000 if you would like them displayed on these videos. These photos can also be viewed on the BRAG PHOTO BOARD at STANAGE BAY MARINE.

15.01.2022 This is really sad news but somebody in their wisdom has decided to steal / relocate STAN from the front of STANAGE BAY MARINE I doubt that he just got up and left but I am thinking some other legless person might have helped him relocate. Could the persons responsible please either return him or at least inform us what has happened. 0427664000 We will be doing whatever is required to get him back as Vonnie placed him in Stanage and we would like to keep him watching over the area.

15.01.2022 Stanage had a good storm Thursday morning giving us about 30 ml of rain, the road is still in reasonable condition for those coming in. For bookings give us a call 0427664000 Just a reminder that the next CORAL REEF FIN FISH CLOSURE begins 12.01 am November 12th and ends 11.59 pm November 16th. Barramundi no take begins November 1st at Midday and reopens February 1st at Midday Chris below showing a barra he caught at the beginning of this year.

12.01.2022 Ewan and Roz staying with us are having a great time catching some nice fish. Below is Ewan with a nice nannygai caught yesterday. We have had a good drop of rain overnight and still drizzling now. It is possibly a timely reminder to please drive to the conditions over the road coming in to Stanage, there was an accident on the road yesterday that cut the road for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.

10.01.2022 Great news we had 57ml of rain in a storm that came through Stanage last night. The road has been graded but please be careful when coming in as there is a lot of roadworks and trucks carting on the road. Also there appears to be more of a police presence monitoring traffic behavior by what I have been told. The crabbing has been a bit slow but some nice fingermark and Barra are being caught. And no, there has been no further reports about STAN, the scummy morons that took him would have to be proud of themselves.

09.01.2022 We do have vacancies available during the Christmas and New year break as well as prior to and after Christmas. Please check out our website or give us a call on 0427664000 if we can help with your visit to Stanage. Chris caught this wonderful Barramundi last week here at Stanage. These boys persisted and we saw them most days calling in to STANAGE BAY MARINE to have a chat and pick up their requirements. This Barra was released but they did keep the other smaller barra around the 800ml size and the Grunter they caught to take home.

09.01.2022 A huge THANK YOU to everyone that is trying to help find STAN unfortunately nothing has eventuated yet. The people that have done this are always now going to be partly blamed for uniforms coming in to visit this normally quiet community

05.01.2022 Stanage has been very quiet with very little crab being caught, as well as the Barra and Coral Reef Fin closure did not excite many to come in to town. The guests we have had have enjoyed the walks on the beach and the night watching for the turtles coming to lay their eggs. Possibly a timely reminder why nobody should drive on our beaches here. The Red shown here was caught by Kerry just before the closure. Caught on a live bait and was her PB good on you Kerry.

03.01.2022 Some more photos of guests and their catches while staying with us here. Please forward your photos of catches that have been taken from the local waters of Stanage while staying in Stanage Bay. You could be part of this type of action if visiting Stanage in the future, give us a call for accommodation 0427664000 or requiring current road conditions.
