17.01.2022 It is nearly 40 years since the origin of what is now DV Awareness month - and it is brilliant that funding for programs of work continue to be forthcoming. Yet, murder and assault levels are continuing to climb despite this increased spending - one would have to question if we are spending in the correct areas - providing money towards additional education and awareness programs, and advertising of the existing services does not seem overly impactful.
