02.01.2022 Bonjour IMPORTANT TIP TO KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE when sleepovers go wrong When your child feels that his/her physical boundaries are not being respected whe...n at a friend’s place, it is important for him/her to have a tool, a way to let you know that he/she needs to be picked up ASAP. Speak to your son or daughter and decide on a CODE word, a sentence, to use when calling/texting/messaging you from their friend’s place - see video for examples. No other questions to ask, when you hear the code, you know they must come home. This can be used for other situations too. I am sure many of you are using this tip already, or this might be a reminder for some, or a new one for others.
