19.01.2022 1 WEEK TO GO TO ENROL Term 1 after school Standing Strong Self Development 8 Week Program! Juniors aged 8-10 Tweens aged 11-13 Start Feb 9th for 8 weeks ... Being strong on our own is not always an easy task at any age, but when you have a safe and nurturing club to visit weekly, it can give any young woman the support she needs to navigate through day to day challenges In each session we cover: STRONG Bodies - movement STRONG Mind - Group discussions on life challenges STRONG Heart - meditation/yoga/art Testimony from Greg Fremantle I liked how the program introduces personal development to children as a normal part of life. I think it reduced my daughters stress and gave her some different perspective even though she didnt communicate explicitly what she went over. 18.01.2022 Being deep in thought with stillness is not something we allow or even have time for.... Teaching kids to slow down and go inwards is something that is really important, I just love seeing how serious they take it and enjoy it. The benefits of starting this type of practice young is that it will be beneficial for life

06.01.2022 What can Standing Strong Clubs do for your daughter? Being a part of a sister circle in my own life brings me a sense of belonging and connection that I don't normally get, even with my close friend's as we just seem to banter back and forth when in each other's company. Standing Strong Mosman Park delivers a Strong Mind component which offers a very similar situation to a sister circle for young women to express and take time out to ask themselves questions like what ...their boundaries are, values and how to self-care. The group discussions make kids feel heard and gives them the opportunity to talk about issue's that other kids can relate to so they don't feel alone. We discuss topics that aren't always easy to express at home, as naturally kids don't want to worry their parents. It’s not all about discussions, we also move our body and learn yoga and meditation, all in one session.
