04.01.2022 Rump Steak is on special this week! This simple yet delicious Polish Goulash is one of many dishes you can cook with it: Ingredients: 500gm rump steak 1 tin of green peas... 300gm mushrooms 2 carrots 2 potatoes 2 glasses of vegetable stock 1-2 tomato paste 3 tbl spoons of olive oil lemon juice (one lemon) 2 tbl spoons of flour salt & pepper handfull of dill, parsley, thyme Preparation: Cut the rump in small cubes and rub it with lemon juice. Put aside for 30min. Coat the meat in flour and fry it on low heat in a large pot. Add the stock and tomato paste. Add carrots cut in small pieces and potatoes cut quarters, then mushrooms, and green peas (together with the juice from the tin). Cover the pot and cook on low heat until the meat is soft and tender and the vegetables are coked (about 40min). If you find the sauce too thin, take the lid off and increase the heat, so that excess water can evaporate. Add salt and pepper, dill, parsley and thyme. Serve with mashed potatoes or buckwheat:-)
