25.01.2022 Hi everyone, it was good to begin our sermon series on the letter to the Philippians on Sunday and be encouraged about the bond between believers that our common faith brings and the joy we can have in giving thanks to God for His work in us and in the lives of others. Why not have a go at reading through Philippians this week or at least chapter 1 as we look at verses 12-30 this Sunday. Also just reminding you of a helpful summary video on the book of Philippians that you can watch at the link below. Ben. https://www.desiringgod.org//summary-of-philippians-in-nin

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, here is a link to the online service for tomorrow 8th November in case you are not able to attend church in person. We are finishing off our time in Philippians this week as we look at Ch.4 verses 8-23 together. May God uses this to encourage us in our faith and service of Him in our lives. In Christ, Ben. https://youtu.be/OkoOWC0iaqY

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone here is a link to our online service for this week. Due to a bit of glitch, when it comes to the sermon skip from 20.01min > 34:47 to get the sermon as it should be, rather than 2 false starts! Thanks, Ben. https://youtu.be/3i-JU9lQTCY

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, this week we are starting a sermon series on the attributes of God, which I am really looking forward to. We might ask ourselves or be asked questions like "What is God like?", "Can you know God?" or "Is my view of God true to who He says He is?" Over the next 5 weeks we are going to spend time considering these questions and more. Each week I will seek to post a helpful article on the attribute of God that we are going to be considering so that we can all do some thinking in advance. This week we are going to be thinking about God's eternal nature - His Aseity. He is self-sufficient, needs nothing and is independent. Have a read of the article below to help to start thinking this through.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are continuing on looking at the letter to the Philippian church this week and Chapter 1:12-30. Here is the link to be able to watch our online service in case you are not able to make it to church this week. I pray that you are encouraged by this time spent considering God through His word and seeking to know what it means to respond appropriately to Him in your life. Ben https://youtu.be/y2YnORHo7Hc

19.01.2022 Hi everyone. It was decided by Parish Council that from this Sunday, 30th August, we will provide the opportunity for people to gather for fellowship in church! There will be one service at 9:30am with Kids Club running at the same time down in the hall. It won't be the same as church as we have known it. With our current Covid-19 restrictions we aren't permitted to sing as a congregation or share in morning tea and we need to uphold our social distancing at all times. Howeve...r, it will be a joy to be with each other for this time of fellowship and I encourage you to organise to continue your fellowship at each others houses or in a public space in small groups as appropriate. Given the ongoing threat of Covid-19 we understand that some people may not feel comfortable meeting in person for church at this stage. With this in mind we will continue providing an recorded on-line service which will be available through this page. We look forward to connecting with you this Sunday! See more

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, here is a link for our online service for this week as we look at Philippians 3:10-4:1. I pray that you will be encouraged and challenged through this time of focussing on our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Ben. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLCfSG1jLAU

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, this week we start our sermon series on the attributes of God by looking at the Aseity of God - that God is sufficient in Himself, in no need of anyone or anything. But what does that mean for how we should respect and honour God in our lives? Why not come to church tomorrow to spend time with others seeking to know the answers to this question for themselves. If you can't make it to church, why not tune in to our on-line service. You can find it here: https://youtu.be/0vktOaExjtA

17.01.2022 Hi Everyone, It is exciting to have the prospect of meeting in person for church tomorrow morning, but we understand that this is not possible for some people. So here is a link for our on-line service for this week, 30th August (despite the cover photo!). Once again it is only on youtube rather than other platforms. Hopefully some of the download issues from last week will be fixed!thanks, Ben https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Otrfz0Hv4Yw

08.01.2022 Hi Everyone, here is a link for our online service for this week. We really are finishing off Philippians 1:12-30 today after not quite getting there last week. I pray you will be encouraged and spurred on to be knowing and honouring God more deeply through Jesus Christ by the power of the Spirit as we spend time considering God's word to us, praying to Him and singing His praises. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It9gjb6ELUs

07.01.2022 Hi everyone, here is a link for our online service this week. We pray that this will be an encouragement to you to grow and stand firm in your faith, honouring and serving God in your life. Just to let you know, there won't be an online service recorded for the 18th October, but God willing we will be continuing our online services from the 25th October. https://youtu.be/8RyNosQ1sHs

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, after looking at the Aseity of God last week in church - that God is sufficient in Himself, we are moving to consider the connected idea that God is therefore Immutable and Impassible - Unchanging and Not given to emotional fluctuation based on external influences. Why not have a read of the attached article to start thinking these ideas through and appreciate that these are great truths that the Bible teaches about God which we can be thankful for. You might want to consider some other resources on the topic and you can find some at https://www.monergism.com/ by searching "immutability" or "impassibility" - Enjoy!

04.01.2022 Hi everyone, here is the link for our on-line service for all those who are unable to join us for church this week. We are continuing to look at Philippians 2:5-11 and the example of Jesus Christ’s humility in service of others. I pray that this will be an encouragement to you. Ben. https://youtu.be/Z00rvIpwhhc
