Very Important - Mandatory Contact Registers... Dear parishioners please note that on Wednesday, 25 November 2020 the Western Australian Government announced that from Saturday, 5 December 2020 identified Western Australian businesses and venues will be required to maintain mandatory Contact Registers for staff and patrons for the purpose of COVID-19 contact tracing by the WA Department of Health, should it be required. Places of Worship are specifically identified in this directive and therefore all Catholic churches, chapels and Mass centres are required to comply with this government directive. Any person aged 16 years and over who attends a place of worship, including patrons, staff, volunteers and contractors will be required to register their contact details. Records are not required to be collected for children under 16 years. The details required for the contact register include: name; contact number; date, and arrival time at the venue. This is mandatory and everybody must fill all this details. We as a parish are required to keep Contact Registers as part of our COVID Safety Plans for twenty-eight (28) days. 4. 03.01.2022 Dear parishioners and friends of St Andrew’s parish. It's easy to get lost in the flurry of activities during Christmas time. It is easy to get lost in the time of buying and preparing gifts for your loved once but get a chance to take time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Take nothing for granted and be thankful that you have such a beautiful parish, family and friends to spend this joyous time with. It’s not what’s under the tree that matters most but it’s who’s... around it. Christmas is forever, not for just one day. For loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away. Like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for your family and others, is good you do for Baby Jesus and yourself. May the wonder of that first Christmas, the joy of God’s abundant blessings, and the peace of Jesus’ presence be with you always. Merry Christmas to you all. Fr Dariusz Basiaga
