We were the first of only 8 preschools in NSW to be invited to participate. We were selected as an example of exemplary practice after our recent Assessment and Rating of Exceeding by the NSW Department of Education. 06.01.2022 Yesterday, our local MP for Newcastle, Sharon Claydon, had the pleasure of our preschool paying her a visit. We walked down to her office to collect 3 flags for our preschool to display, the Australian flag, the Aboriginal flag and the Torres Strait Island flag. We got to ask some questions and tell some stories as well as share our knowledge about the flags we were collecting. Sharon Claydon was very impressed with how lovely, friendly and polite our children were! 01.01.2022 We don’t let the elements stop us from getting out in the community and having fun After doing some Spanish at Spanish Rock, Rhyme & Storytime at Newcastle Library, we headed into the park to do some exercise.
