21.01.2022 Yesterday we said farewell to these incredible gentleman. Between them, there is over 60 years of dedication to the patients and staff at St Andrew’s Ipswich. Dr Andrew Winter (anaesthetist) Dr Bob McLellan (anaesthetist) and Dr Stewart Parkinson (surgical assist) are true gentleman. Thank you for being an integral part of our community. We wish you all the very best in your well deserved retirements! And congratulations on lifetimes of achievement. We hope you leave us with the fondest of memories just as we have of you.

18.01.2022 On Friday we wore purple to support our colleagues Ipswich Hospice Care - Queensland Ipswich Hospice provide an amazing service to Ipswich families and often support families of our patients. It takes all of us working together to ensure the people of Ipswich have access to the care they need. We were able to raise $240. Well done St Andrew's team!

Staff, contractors, law enforcement, or those required for court or tribunal hearings exempt.... Other exemptions include a person who: - is a parent or caregiver of a patient who is a child; or - is visiting a patient of the hospital being provided pregnancy or maternity-related care; or - is a disability support worker or informal carer to a patient of the hospital with a disability who requires support; or - other patients that the operator of the hospital believes is necessary to have visitors for emergency or other compassionate grounds Other than the restriction to visitors from Greater Brisbane, there is no limit on the number of visitors or duration of the visit. It was so close in fact, that in the 7 years and up category we had a tie for 1st! Winners... 1st: Abby -10 years old 1st: Eliza - 8 years old 2nd: Indie - 8 years old 3rd: Zarli - 12 years old The winners received LEGO and a certificate.
