22.01.2022 Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at St Andrews market. Please familiarise yourself with our Covid safe plan posted in our previous post which includes shop and go, no eating on site or busking. Remember to bring a rug and catch up and enjoy your coffee or treats in the area outside the market. Just so there is no miss understanding unless you have an exemption , you’ll still need to keep your mask on if you’re at a busy outdoor market. :-)

21.01.2022 St Andrews market is reopening November 21st! The market is going to be a little different from what we are used to for a while, but we know you understand it’s only temporary and a requirement to keep us all safe. During our first stage of reopening, only permanent and stalls on our priority casual list will be able to attend and must have committee approval in advance. Unfortunately, we will be unable to have any buskers until further notice. 20.01.2022 The state of emergency has been extended so the market reopening has been rescheduled to July 25th. We are as disappointed as you, however the state government requests to limit the amount of people moving around and as the majority attending the market travel from suburbia to the township of St Andrews, we feel it best to postpone the reopening until the state of emergency is lifted. We will keep you updated on any further changes and in the meantime to all our permanent, priority and long term casuals, please make contact via : [email protected] or 0467 535 341 so we can forward the temporary terms and conditions so we are ready to go once its considered safe to do so.

12.01.2022 Thanks everyone who has liked and started following our new online market page St Andrews Market Online. If you are a regular stall and want to be promoted message us your details via the new page. You don’t have to have a website, just include details of your items, some pictures and an email address for customers to contact you. After today's announcement from the state government it’s going to be a while until we meet again, so let’s stay connected and support each other online. Stay safe and stay happy.

12.01.2022 St Andrews market is open tomorrow. We ask that anyone who is feeling unwell or has returned from overseas in the last 14 days stay home and refrain from attending. Those who are attending we remind you to follow the recommended hygiene precautions. Avoid touching your face, and thoroughly wash your hands. If you cough or sneeze, please cover your mouth and nose and carry tissues and hand sanitiser with you. (Plus BYO toilet paper as we have not been able to purchase any - ...sorry!). Social distancing of keeping 1.5 meters from each other means we need to start practicing our air hugs and kisses as we can still have fun and share the love. 10.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came and supported the market on Saturday. It’s great to be open and to see everyone following our covid safe plan Thank you! We have reallocated a number of stalls and removed entire rows to allow everyone to be able to keep a safe distance from each other.... This however means we have fewer sites available for causal stalls and we are unable to offer everyone a stall each week as we have in the past. While we operate under our current ’covid safe plan ’ all casual stalls must receive an email from the committee confirming they have a stall before attending. Preference will be given to those with a history with the market or selling something unique. Email: standrewsmarket.com.au for more information. There will be no casual bookings on market morning until further notice.

The market is going to be different for sometime and we know you all don't agree with the changes but they are a requirement for us to open and remain open. If visiting the market we ask that you follow the Covid plan below so we can continue to operate. Market Covid Safe plan: Stay home when feeling unwell Facemasks to be worn within the market unless you have an exemption Practice good hand hygiene, al...l stalls will have hand sanitiser for customer use Follow physical distancing: keep 1.5 meters away from others, avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses Avoid crowded areas Avoid touching items or produce as much as possible No sitting or catching up within the market Shop and go and limit your time within the market All food is takeaway only and not to be consumed on site Be kind, patient and respectful to all All stalls must have committee approval before attending There will be no casual bookings on the day or busking until further notice There will be lots of empty spaces around the market that have been created to allow us all to move around and avoid congestion.
